Haven't post pic for a while, here is my update couple in my garage

So, after fighting with the crappy quality on my old E46, I eventually give it up and traded it in for..... a 08 E92 335i. Yup, too sad another BMW, another crappy quality to deal with (already has 3 things broken down which including the famous fuel bump issue in 4 mth). I just found out looks, status & power are more important than qualitiy & reliability, so after I saw how ugly the 2nd gen TSX and no improvement on the power side. I play the risk and get another BMW instead.

mod list: Aero front lip, Mtech side skirt, M lip rear spoiler, Mtech steering wheel, Mtech shift knob, Mtech e-brake handle, Mtech alumnium padels set, 19" Work Varianza T1S 235/35/19 front & 275/30/19 rear on Bridgestone RE960AS, 35% tint, 6000k hid low beam, 6000k hid fog, 7500k halo ring + all interior led

And then here is the updated on my beloved, never fail me 04 TSX

mod list: Mugen front lip, Mugen front grill with DC5 "A" porch, a-spec side & rear skirt, m style lip spoiler, 35% tint, a-spec suspension, jdm style head lamp with 6000k hid low beam, 18" Volk TE37 on 225/40/18 Falken FK452, Willwood BBK with 13.3" fromt 2-pc rotor + 12.7" rear rotor, DC header, comptech SSK, comptech icebox, comptech rear sway, spoon front tower bar, UR pulley set, SUNO voltage stablizer and grounding kit, hondata reflesh, 3000k hid fog and led interior.

Both rides look great Ian. The Varianzas are fantastic wheels and I'm glad you chose them over the BBS you were also considering.

Are those blue LEDs in your fishlight corners? Have you been hassled by the police for that yet? I do not know about Toronto but stateside, only emergency vehicles may have blue or red lights in the front, and cops take it fairly seriously.

I love the Mugen lip. Fitment looks perfect. Is it a replica or authentic?

Ian, does the 335ci put a smile on your face everytime you drive it?

Do you drive on Kennedy/16th area alot? I see your 335ci a couple of times w/ family.

Yes, because of its looks, because of its gidgets, because of its power, because of its super handling and most important because of the status
No, because of its build quality, because of its rough & notchy, because of its slow response, because of its problems

My wife always keep asking is the car already started when our TSX idling
My wife always keep asking is the car something wrong when our 335i idling

Neway, I always have smile when I driving of my TSX, since I know I only need to worry about getting ticket when I push the car hard. But I always worry the car will break down after pushing it a bit hard on the 335i. So the bimmer is good to look but TSX is good to drive. However, if it compare to our old E46! then the 335i is truly a big big upgrade! E46 drive shitty and worst than a Fit.

Yes, it is me. Wife took the pic. Hope not ruin the nice looking of the TSX

BTW, regarding my previous post. To be fair, the performance mod on the TSX did help a lot! I think I can't live with the drivability on a stock TSX too. However, the build quality on Honda is way way than BMW. I need to keep a duct tape in my bimmer in case if something fall off or leaking or whatsoever suddenly!

You got great taste. Both cars are modded very nicely.

For the T1S, did you go with the O-disk for the rears? Did you go with the R-disk or A-disk for the fronts?

Have no idea what is O/R/A-disk... just order with specify width and offset and they knew it is for E92 then after 4 month, I got these sexy shoes ship from Japan.

Maybe I got spoiled by Honda build quality. When you compare BMW to other european, BMW is top tier quality. But when compare to Honda, it is a joke. Here are a list that I got on my 335i that delivered to me on March 2008 which was built on early Feb (it is important to avoid Dec, Jan & Oct build in Germany because you may smell beer instead of new car)
1, Navi keep hang
2, doors won't unlock
3, fog light condensation
4, brake light keep burn out after raining
5, sunroof keep open & close without touching it
6, windows leaking water when go through touchless carwash (sure window fully closed)
7, interior trim fallen apart, map lamp cover fallen off
8, bluetooth not always working
9, clicking clutch
10, "engine malfuntion, reduced power" light comes out once a while which is the famous limp mode and is cause by a faulty high pressure fuel pump.

When compare to the list on my old E46, it is nothing. But in Honda standard, it is horrible! So no matter how everyone say "leasing is for someone cannot afford it", I still lease it because I dun want to own a BMW after the warranty gone. And I may consider to get a Fit as a spare car now since everytime they need at least 2 weeks to fix a simple problem and I hate to drive on a rental kia or neon all the time.

Ian, is BMW a joke? I remember you told me about the Window leaking water from carwash like 2 yrs ago w/ your 325ci, and it still happens on this 335ci now??? wtf?

I see a bmw with dealer plates every 15 minutes here in southern cali. It's gotten me to the point that I want one too. But if I ever do get a bmw, I'm going to definitely lease it so I don't have to worry about taking care of it after warranty. My dad talks about how much it costs him to have his bmw fixed, and then the part breaks down after 6 months. My cousin is going to marry someone who works for bmw in the east coast (from what I hear, he's like a regional manager...several dealerships report to him for authorization to work on cars). My cousin got a good deal on a bmw, but it's just a base model. If I get a car, it needs all of the extras lol

I would sell all my clothes, toys, cars, technology, etc. if I could live in a house like that. lol

My old one is 328i, it was the top end model at that time even though 330i released half yr later. I never buy lower end of the model. And no my old one was leaking from the sunroof but not from the window like now.
