OK about the colors...
I work for a surgical instrument company that makes blades and sutures.
They heat treat their stainless steel because its soft and pliable (for a steel) before they etch the blades in acid. When we do mock-ups to what they do in production we just use a propane tourch to heat the blades then cool them quickly in water.
The RAPID HEATING OF METALS to extremely HIGH temperatures is what causes the color change.
I'm sure most metal aftermarket parts are heat treated for durability but acids (in my companies case Nitric) remove this oxidation on the metal.
Then, to make the parts shiney, they more than likely electro-polish them.
Just my

Nice though, seen your car before too....make sure they are on tight, unlike my friend who had Titianium tips on his TSx, and one of them got stolen........HAHAHHA~

I have the dual titan R1 Amuse on my S2000, and the piping, especially where it splits before the mufflers, is turning the purple color due to heat from the exhaust. It's common for this exhaust to change color, so the temperature of the exhaust in the car is hot enough to make the change. The tips are heated then polished for the look, but after time, the Amuse exhaust will have a lot of portions changed color from driving.

my stock tips were looking like that ...
till I washed them. Not to be a hater, but not a fan of this blue ring burnt/tip. If they could make the whole tip that metalic blue it might look cooler IMO. But on first glance it just looks like the finish has failed.

i think it was a cool idea with the tips. But to me they look a bit "stuck on" maybe because the rest of the exhaust doesnt flow onto them/ not made from a similar material.
In saying that though the tips really suit your rims and the overall look of your car
