Great Photo

I posted this photo in a watch collector's forum I hang out in. Obviously you guys require a whole lot less explanation. Before I told them how I did it, I got reactions about how I was going to kill people and blow a head gasket But it's all good once I promised I wasn't really going that fast.

"20 minutes until the meeting with 50 miles to go, 150 ought to do it"

The MID is displaying the super jet rocket turbo boost mode and says

E-CHK: OK (Engine Check)
R-CHK: OK (RPM Check)

Ok ok just kidding. The car is actually parked and doing the diagnostic gauge sweep. Directions are near the bottom of the first page of this post: here

Here's an example of one that I didn't time quite right with the blinking lights. I took about 20 photos to get 1 good one, but with some practice I think I could do a lot better.

Is there another way to do it? That piece of lint on my sleeve has been driving me crazy though, guess I was too concerned about taking the photo to see it.

I didn't know you had a thread about this pic - I posted a compliment on your watch in another one.

I didn't even notice the tach/speedo, lol! My hubby being a watch maniac, I've been trained to recognize all kinds of watches, and that's the only thing I saw, haha. (And he, by the way, has been well trained by the wife to recognize all kinds of cars.

Coming tomorrow, Acura with Tag Heuer.

What a cool wife, hopefully I can find one with similar interests someday!

Ha! Awesome pic, u rock Duke! The one with all the panel lights on is funny too!

How many diagnostic checks did you have to perform to get 20 misses and 1 hit on the picture?

As for the lint, since it's too late for the lint brush, try the 'rubber stamp' feature on Photoshop. My photog sister showed it to me one day and it's been my best friend since.

Good enough. Very classy. ... I'm curious to see what it does in mine (with the 2006 MID). I'm tempted to go down and do it and video it with my 6682.

I hate to plagiarize DukeZip, but I'm tempted to do one with my 1985 Seiko H558A (bought after USCG basic training, before the Gov. of Calif. started appearing in movies with his). I'll bet your hubbie knows of what I speak. :P

Super easy with Photoshop CS2, in fact there are more than 1ne or 2wo ways to wipe the lint off. I can help, if you like.

The pic looks like it could be a screen grab from The Transporter.
