Foglights... mostly done

I didn't want to clutter up anyone else's thread so I'm starting this one. But I have the same complaint as posted in the other thread -- the interior switch's lighting is a poor match for the other buttons! Aside from doing something about that, I'm done!

There's blue tint, and most recently, I replaced the bulbs with Hoens, which a lot of people have recommended.

The old bulbs were definitely yellowish, like conventional halogen headlights, so there was a contrast between the headlights and the foglights. Maybe that's a good thing, since they're supposed to be foglights, and yellow is better, but you know, it's all about looking good. I've seen other cars with the mismatch, so this will stand out as a unique, yet simple, mod. The color of the new bulbs isn't an EXACT match for our stock HIDs, but it's very close, and hard to tell the difference. It's not enough of a difference for me to care, and it seems to depend on surrounding light or something -- sometimes I can't tell the difference nomatter how closely I look.

i have an 06,
ths stock fog was too halogen for me
i exchanged to Hoen Xenonmatch (55W), but in close range, it never matches my HID
i exchanged to 85W Heliolite (more Wattage means more brightness), it's definitely more practical than hoen, more bright , more white and blue tint
but it still does not satisfy me.
i ordered H11 HID kit plug and play. it's Hella H11 kit for 175 shipped, which is an amazing deal. (unlike ebay HId kits or McCulloch, the authentic Hella is well approved by German and Japanese car companies)

Installaing them next week, i'll post pics

I think an HID kit would be completely unnecessary overkill, but it would give you those additional bragging points. I'll settle for 2nd best and only $36 poorer.
