First Shoot with New JP Wheels

Finally got the wheels to fit properly so that the car is drivable now. So since I was on break I decided to do photo shoot at two different locations I found over christmas break. More to come soon after the car is featured on tunertalk.net

What he never takes a shot of is his trunk. This kid has the kits of all kits in the trunk and at the drop of a hat can clean the car. Match that with the fact this TSX has quality parts and we know why the car looks so damn good.

Two pieces of advice, change those Mugen socks and change the positive battery terminal.

yeah the mugen socks need to be washed and I knew someone would notice the positive terminal. stupid dealer broke my $100 positive terminal with digital display readout by losing the adapter collar to make it fit and the manufacture doesnt sell the single so I have to buy a complete new one.

Werd.

I love the look of the car though. Everything looks nice and clean without looking overdone.

Interior gauges look kinda ricey though. What you need them for?

Hmm...I sure can't seem to find it on aj-racing.com. Maybe they don't sell them anymore. That makes me sad.

its was special order. just call them up and tell them what you want. they can order any jdm oem part basically. just to let you know the jdm airbag doesnt work with are car though. it is also not a direct fit either you have to grind away a little bit of metal on the steering wheel to make it fit over the one connector.

So I take it that if I ever needed to change it back to stock for selling purposes or whatever, the OEM wheel probably won't fit once you've grinded the metal down? Hmm...that kind of sucks.

Is that a custom dash kit where the double din screen is mounted?

I have been searching high and low to find one like that.

Lookin good J! Yeah, post some trunk shots...haha

Does your driver side curtain airbag still work? Are you worried that if the airbags go off, that the guages will shoot off and hit you?

no the metal you have to file down is on the jdm wheel so it doesnt affect how the stock wheels fits at all.

the trunk isnt that special and possibly getting redesigned soon.

The airbag still works and from what I have seen from pictures of crashed tsx with the side airbags that go off the panel stays in place and only the top clip pops out and the airbag shoot along the window. the bottom of the a pillar stays in place. the gauges are also mounted really low too.

That is a custom install that I had done at an audio shop. it is also just a regular 6.5 inch video screen and not a headunit.
