it's the wife's camera that she keeps in the car to take pictures of our son, hence why the date is plastered over all my pics

have a kid and you'll understand dates on pics are a helpful thing for the family

What setting do you guys use to take NIGHT pictures (low-light condition?)?? Mine is not a DSLR, thus the high ISO setting has ALOT of noise. I'm wondering if I'm going to the right track. Do you change the white balance setting @ night too?

1. Use Night Scenery mode. Last year pix. Yellow Fog + No Kit

2. This year, w/ HID Fog + lip. Use slow shutter (1) ISO 80 (or 100) since it can catch better details???

3. Same as 2.

Why not just use a photo management program (like Picassa or Adobe Lightroom or whatever)? The dates and times come right in with the pics......or, just get a Flickr account and I think the EXIF data goes up with your photos (and your relatives can just pop over to your account to look at the pics instead of you having to build a site or email pics to them....

for me that would be fine, but for the family who are merely interested in the pics of my son it's pretty much useless because they won't go through the effort to find that information. my wife has been using an AOL photo album since my son was born and it's updated monthly so people can check without a problem and with easy navigational tools
