i think they hate us over here. Here we r with the luxury brand paying $$ and there they r over there with only Honda brand and they get everything imanginable. 8000 rpm redline, net and e-mail access, etc...

not sure if any hate is involved

but most of the time, Japanese brands tend to keep their absolutely best stuff to themselves only.

For example, Sony PSX (not the original PS, but the PVR+PS machine = PSX) is Japan only too. And we all know about the Skyline R34 GT-R VSpec. Heck, even Toyota Supra is still alive and well in Japan but no where else in the world!

K20A

MOMO

6SPEED

The K20A is wonderful.
Its possible to actually use it up to 9000rpm safely.
The balancer shaft has been added though it is the same as TYPE-R.
Smoothness as surprised. Please experience once.

Unfortunately the compliancing on such a new car doesn't make it so attractive. Hence people used to buy a car from Japan, ship it to New Zealand where the laws and regulations are great, and put it in storage. Then after 1yr or maybe it's 2 ship it to Australia as a personal vehicle. However I think that's one hole the Australian government in their money grabbing ways has closed. So it's more of a nice pipe dream.

I dunno...
I bet if Honda/Acura put an 8500rpm redline, plus smartkey, those cool pedals, net access, e-mail... etc...

They'd probably blow the competition out of the water.

I want those seats!

My one problem with the standard seats is a lack of support behind the knees.

Damn our side airbags.

OK, maybe they have also stopped making the Supra in Japan altogether now. But at the time North America stopped getting the Supra, it was still available in Japan. Same thing happened when they stopped selling the RX-7 here.

Everything can be bought with parts.
The type turn can be retrieved on the web site of HONDA.
If next week because of the week of the long leave Japan comes,
its possible to retrieve it.

Japan limitation perhaps. :p
