Early xmas present = my TSX build

Hey guys, so I got some early christmas presents for myself and couple stuff just arrived. Thought I would share some pics. Im also just gonna use this thread for my build-up. I will post pics as more things arrive.

Ok lets start with the car:

05 SSM AT w/ Nav dropped on Tanabe DF210 Springs. Only engine mod is CT Engineering Icebox. As for the exterior, you guys can see its the A-Spec kit.

Just added the decklid spoiler which I got from xenonspecialist on ebay. Not bad for the price since it came painted and mounts just with 3m tape.

Now for the goodies sitting in the garage:

Works VS-XX 18x7.5 / 45 offset (oh yea got these used for a good price)

Progress RSB

Few other things are in backorder so waiting for them to arrive. I will update this thread as parts arrive and get installed. Thanks for looking. Enjoy!

Thanks guys. Btw, if anyone has any suggestions on what size tire to run to have that stretched look, please let me know. I am planning to go with 205/40/18. I think recommended size is 215/45/18.

Looks good

I dunno about running 205/40/18, I'd suggest 225/40/18 or 215/40/18 at the least

Yea ill keep you guys posted as stuff arrive or when I get things installed.

The rim is 18x7.5 and I wanted to stretch the tires a bit so I was thinking 205's will do. Or I might just run 215's.

Yep both my cars. Got the RSX when it first came out in 02 and got the TSX about a month ago. Anyways, its going to be a long process to get this build up and going. A lot of parts I ordered are in backorder.

BTW tsx604, looks like you got a nice collection of parts there.

Just wanted to keep the stock airbox look yet get some hp gain over the factory airbox. The CAI seem to give more top end power while the icebox gave me more of a low/mid range power. I have an AT so im rarely taking it all the way to redline.

Alright guys, didnt take shots of the install process cuz im sure everyone knows how to install wheels, put on lug nuts, and install window visors but I got some after shots.

Check em out:

Mugen Window Visors:

Works VS-XX w/ Project Kics Neo Chrome Lugs:

Works installed:

Pending install:

Still debating if I should put these on since Im not running the Euro-R kit:

Sorry for the crappy garage pics. Just took em half an hour ago. Ill take some outside/better shots when I get some good sun. Been gloomy and cloudy around my area. Anyways, thanks for looking again guys.

I would put on Accord Type-S badging, since as you say, you are not running the Euro-R lip kit. The Accord Type-S does use the USDM lipkit.

I might run the Euro R emblems for a while since its already there. I actually ordered Type S emblems but still waiting for those to come.

Yea I also wish they made an ARC box for the CL9. That was actually the first intake I looked for when I purchased the car but come to find out they dont make it.

I have to agree don't install the Euro-R badges since you don't have the Euro-R kit. Leave it with Acura or just Honda for now. BTW keep up the good work, your ride is looking pretty clean.

Appreciate the comments guys. Yea I might just end up not running any emblems or add on the Type S ones just to have some contrast to the car.

Btw, these came in woohoo:

Nice disc. I have those rotors front and back on my tsx for about a year with hawk pads. They work great. Much stronger braking and don't warp like the stock one. You might feel a vibration when you slightly press the brakes but after 3-4 thousand miles it should be better.

My stock front rotors went bad. So much vibration and squeaking when im braking. I ran my finger on the rotor and you can feel the ridges. Oh yea, im gonna be running axxis brake pads instead of hawks.

Anyways, thanks for the heads up shun_kim!

So just got done installing the euro grill. What a way to spend christmas eve . Here are a few pics:

Difference in radiator plates: (Euro R top US Spec bottom)

Installing the grill:

And done with Euro R hood trim installed:

Pretty straight forward install except im having a hard time to let the radiator plate sit flush with the grill. Also 2 of the holes dont line up. Oh yea im guessing this is a common problem with others since it is a US spec bumper:

Hate the gap and I tried my best trying to let it sit flush but no luck. Thats the best I got it. If anyone has pointers or a fix for it, please let me know. Thanks for looking again!

Looks amazing! Would you consider swapping the Gold rims onto the RSX for the Gunmetal ones for the TSX, I think the swap in colors would compliment the other car.
