dropped on tein basics (finally!)

i know it's nearly a sin to post pictures of a dirty car, but i'm a sinner.

i got my tein basics on yesterday, and this is how she sits now, with a tight 1-finger gap. before i get my alignment done, i need to decide if i want to make it an easy 1-finger gap or not.

opinions?

without further ado:
1) hard to see the gap

2) better

3) front gap

4) rear gap

Thats the perfect drop in my opinion. Any lower and you are in RICER territory.

I have that exact drop and I like it cause it subtle enough be definitely noticeable

Hows the ride quality? Do you have to go over speed bumps slowly or can you take them w/ ease? Also, you think if you were to drive over a pothole, the suspension would be able to handle it? I'm sure this has been mentioned before by other members but i'm just torn between the Basics and the SuperStreets.

omg! I think I saw you Wednesday afternoon! Did you drove on that "island" intersection on 39th/glisan? >_>

Or could it be another CGP with the same wheels?

Looking real good. I got 17" on mine also and I drop 2.35 in front and 1.95 in the rear. And mine is a little less than 1 finger gap all the way around.

are you selling the tanabe because you finally decided to sell the tsx? or are you getting a different suspension?

by the way, it is lower than a one-finger gap. barely. i can get my finger in there, but at a slight angle. so i call that a tight one-finger gap. i don't know what it technically is.

and for others, i'm not sure how many inches it's dropped. i don't know what the stock gap is. about 3.5 fingers i guess. so it's maybe a 2 inch drop?

car looks sweet with that drop. be sure to check the rear of your ride, in case you need a camber adjustment

Beautiful. If I hadn't had my car broken into, I would be sitting on Tein SS's right now. :-/ Some day... until then, A-spec it is.

a couple more (at least i'm whoring in a single thread, and not starting new ones) :

i'm having a lot of trouble getting consistently good shots. i'm not sure if i've got something set poorly on my camera (general photos are great, but for some reason, my car is a tough subject). generally my shadows are too deep and dark, and the highlights are too light!)

calling CCColts and Chris_F! How do you get such great shots of CGP? am i the only one that thinks it's a hard color to shoot well?
