A couple new mods...
I finally got around to snapping some pics today. Included are:
custom painted OEM grille
painted brake calipers
JDM headlights
Tanabe MT exhaust
And one of the whole car:
Next on deck is my Kreuzer X's when they get here (2-6 weeks left!) and some tires, then I'm more or less done for the year - gotta pay off these mods at some point, you know?

The paint is black G2 Caliper Paint (bought it from eBay, easy to find). The stickers I had custom made by a guy I found selling Porsche caliper stickers - if it's kosher with the mods for me to disclose the seller, I'd be glad to - I don't want to seem like I'm promoting him as a vendor or anything.

Yeah I did curb two of my rims pretty badly, I'm not happy about it either, lol. That'll teach me to pay more attention.
A bodykit is definitely on the future mods list, most likely the OEM A-Spec kit.
To anyone apprehensive about doing the caliper painting themselves, it's really pretty easy - it just requires patience and good prep work. I jacked the car up, put it on four jack stands, and removed all the wheels. Then I got some newspaper and masking tape and masked off the rotors and brake pads as best as I could - really take your time at this stage and make sure you do it right. After that, it was just a matter of painting the calipers. I put on three coats (took me about an hour) and still had spare paint left in the can. Then 24 hours later, I cleaned the calipers with rubbing alcohol and applied the decals.
This was my first painting DIY I've done and it came out great.

Cruisin'
thinking about painting my calipers black with a white acura decal. I also got cross drilled brake rotors with black powder coat hub to prevent rusting. For those that have done the mod, do you think it will be easier to paint the calipers after taking them off the rotors, or do you have plenty of access just taking off the wheel?
