One of the slight fitment flaws with Mugen replica kit - But at that price, as compared to original, it's a minor issue.

Actually the replica parts and kits for CL7/CL9/Euro R have been relatively few compared to the stuff that's available for the Subaru WRX (most bang for buck performance car here) and its nemesis, the Mistubishi Evo.

It's just that the community of JDM Accord drivers is quite small, so when we do a group buy or when a certain popular part becomes available, it seems like everyone is installing them...

in recent times, it has been HKS exhausts, Gruppe M intakes, Toda's headers and Fightex coilovers and now the Mugen replica kit and Alcon brakes.

Wouldn't you be a little bit suspicious of buying replica Performance parts? It's not like body kits or anything that's more of cosmetic replica that's probably ok, but i'd be worried about buying anything replica especially when it comes to parts that could effect your engine performance.
Basically they're fake parts that are made to look like the real thing, but quality might not be up to par with the real parts.

The way I phrased my post was misleading - the only popular replica part among the group lately has been the Mugen 06 kit.

The rest of the stuff I mentioned is all real stuff - the last thing this bunch does is to stinge on performance or safety mods.

In fact, I daresay if there was an equivalent mod/part like a coilover kit from taiwan or brakes from taiwan - most of hardcore modders here would rather save up for the JDM or reputable brands - more than a bit of baller mentality at work!!!
