canon a95 question

does anyone have this camera?

i want to know if the zoom on the camera is normally noisy or quiet like most normal digital camera? need to know if it's defective or not

You can definitely hear the motor when using the zoom. Does it sound like a motor or is it another noise?

Its hard to determine like this. What may be loud to you isn't loud to others. I'd advise taking it back to the store you bought it from and compare it side by side with another A95/A85. Its really the only way.
