I don't quite think some fender flares should be considered wide body

It's probably the one that used to be white with black designs on the side, and now its been painted red....unless there are two tsx's in cali with fender flares.

Does anyone have any pictures of this car? I think it looks pretty good from what i can see.

Cool, he's repping air runner.

I remember seeing a thread with this car in it as well. I believe it was white then painted candy red.

I saw this car in person and those who don't like it here would definitely change their mind if they saw it close up. Some items on the car might be over the edge, but overall fit, form, and finish on the car is excellent. And yes, it's turbocharged.

Candy apple red should stay on low-riders it dosent belong on are cars. I am sure there is probly lots of work done to it, just not my taste or preference.

In a weird way, it looks good. for a show car. I wish I had that much money to even be able to do that.

I still can't get used to the fad of wider reared (or staggered wheeled) FWD cars...it's counterintuitive IMO and almost poseur-ish

On a show piece, I do like the color though...

I agree, it’s pointless and it looks stupid on FWD vehicles.

I don't get it, if you have the same wheels for a staggered set up on a FWD car and a RWD car, how does it look different? Am I missing something? Only way I know a car has either drive train is just by knowledge.

It's not a matter of telling being able to the difference between the drivetrain, it's the fact that running a staggered setup on a FWD car simply wouldn't make sense functionally. Not only does it not add any traction for launches or cornering, it inhibits launches by adding unnecessary friction and it adds understeer when cornering.

Basically, all of the advantages you'd gain on a RWD are hindrances on a FWD.

^ Okay so its just technically not well put right? Those guys made it seemed like it looks different or something. This is an intellectual annoyance then haha, weird. Sorry, but I just find it strange to be bothered by something like that. Anyway, you learn something new everyday, thanks!

Edit

Nevermind what I said about what those guys "made it seem", he was talking about the looks that don't differ froma RWD and FWD and not the technical set up.

Well put. That's my point - I get that it's for aesthetics and it's a reflection of the RWD drifting scene, but it's more than just putting a Type-S badge on your car or adding a hood bulge when you have a N/A engine, it actually poses a negative effect on your car's overall performance.

If you want to look like a RWD, buy a RWD people!
