Black ext./parchment int.

That's the combo I'm thinking of getting (Canada). Any of you guys have personal pictures of that combo ?

Thanks

I've seen that color combo in the showroom and it really gives the TSX a rich look....nice contrast. Black always looks good with Parchment. I just wish they had the colours from the U.S.A. and I bet vise versa.

Absolutely!!
I wish Acura Canada had brought in Carbon Grey. But, as I posted before, in order to keep the price down up here, $34,800CAD msrp they had to limit the combinations.
Many of us were extremely disappointed when it was not in the Canadian colour options!
I would be driving a CG/Ebony instead of my SSM/Ebony. But the grass always seems greener eh?!

A few of us have the color combo you're talking about. I think somebody named Found939 (or something like that) also has one.

Some folks say that it is the hardest color combo to keep clean-- i.e., road dust appears white on the black exterior and dirt appears black on the parchment interior. Well, those people are right about the exterior. Get ready to wash your ride every week...

By the way, has anybody found a way to keep your spouse from feeling jealous when you spend more time with your car at home than you do with her???

Do you think bringing up extra colours to Canada would increase the price of the TSX? Can't see that happening?

The States has such a large population (300 million) vs. Canada (35 million). Therefore, Acura can justify the expenses of building and shipping of multiple int/ext colour choices. IMO.
They have a much greater potential of increasing imports to US than they do here. As an example, sales of the Honda CRV was approx. the same as the entire Acura line in Canada.

Just my $.02

Black/parchment combo

Is that combo not offered in the states

Maybe that's why there are no pics posted here... well when (and if) I get mine in march 2004, I'll post them.

Just took delivery of my black/parchment TSX. Looks real nice.

I got the extra "wood kit" also to finish off the console & doors with the same wood as the dash. Really ties everything together. I wish the wood trim was slightly darker, but I will take what they give me.

Pics hopefully coming soon.
