Bit of polishing will have it sorted........surely?

Me and her were sitting in line behind someone about 3 or 4 car ahead waiting to turn right, I think - couldn't see exactly.
So, sat there with the handbrake on, foot off the brake pedal and next thing I hear is the back end being clipped, and see the offender wrestling the car on her side, which was thankfully clear of other traffic.
Suffice it to say, we're fine - thus far (the morning after is when you feel things) - and I switch off the engine and get out to assess the damage.
He's stopped on up a bit and asks if we can pull over out of the way - I agree and after shooting a few "mementoes", I pull down into the side street you can see in the second photo, on the left.
Exchange details, assure young lad not to worry and leave him to await for his father's car to be collected - which the RAC organised a low loader fairly sharpish apparently.
Now, just gotta go through the motions of insurance and repair.
So far, my untrained eye says:
cat back exhaust
rear light cluster
boot lid (bent bottom left)
rear bumper
few hours lump hammering rear quarter/boot
repainting
.....and I haven't even checked the rear door shutline.
Drove gingerly, but think the suspension is probably okay - guess they'll check that and alignment to see if there's more than cosmetic damage.
Fun and games, eh?!..........and I haven't even got my pedals on yet.

your gonna need a new rear door upper chrome trim from what I can see to since it looks scraped. at least you are not paying for it.

That's just an optical illusion - the rear door is fine as it wasn't touched or affected by the accident.
So far, quotes are in around the £3-3.5K ($6-7K) mark - with one at £5K ($10K).
