Anyone have there window tint with blue film?

I'm thinking of having my NBP's windows tint with blue color film. I just want to know if anyone tried that and have a snapshot of it.

I thought that I read where OEM tint was a mild green. I could be wrong.

Anyway, I came close to having a very mild (50%) blue tint on my 06 PWP. I kinda like the OEM blue on Mercedes Benz cars. My son and wife voted for it but I decided on a charcoal color (3M ColorStable 35% all around). I felt dye based film will probably fade/discolor over time. Who knows what that would look like...
Also, I wanted to steer clear of metal based film to avoid possible problems with cell, satellite, etc reception problems. That left the 3M mentioned above which uses carbon or the Huper Optik which uses ceramic.

For the blue film, ask the shop to let you try a piece on a side window first so you can see if you will really like it. Personally, I would not go any darker than 50%. Anything more would look cheesy. Again, that's just my opinion.

Good luck!

like matt said
the only blue that will really look good is the MB oem blue, but it is very light
also, IMO, black tints would look killer on your NBP
blue would only lookd good if your car was a lighter color like silver/white or ABP

going with more than 50% will look like crap honestly

keep us updated

Blue doesn't sound too good to me either. Stick with the more classic charcoal.
