Another new 2006...
On the same note, we got a 2006 TSX in Deep Pearl Green last week....it's been great, I thoroughly enjoy the amenities that are lacking on the other car...

for as many jokes that were made about it, that green really isn't a bad color. Just one of those things you have to see in person as opposed to a brochure or a paint chip.

I agree with the general sentiments. Originally we were going to get Carbon Pearl Grey but we ended up with the green....I was skeptical but the color looks a lot better in person. I think the color will look different depend on the lighting, I think the green will really show in direct sunlight.
The green apparently was on the TL until they just continued it this past year.

Thats one Sexy B**ch! I have an 05 TSX CGP, I actually like the 06 rims and they started to grow on me so I bought a set for 450 off a fellow AZ member in ebay after he made the 06 to 05 rim swap.

Very nice Evo. I'm thinking about trading my TSX for an Evo in about 6 months from now. BTW, why did you decide to go with 8.5 wide wheels and not 9.0? The rims look sick regardless!

That Evo is sooo nice. Its so clean and very well done. Def should have thought about one before purchasing my TSX. I absolutely love the Evo, great job man looks great . And so does the 06 TSX haha

I seriously considered the EVO, just couldnt justify the pricetag for the one with the features I wanted. It would be fun to have one as a second car/toy if my budget ever got to the point of allowing such extravagance.
The TSX is cool

Good question about the wheels, the reason why I went 8.5 and 235 is because of my suspension. The Tein S-Techs dropped the front 1.9" and rear 0.9". Since the drop was so severe in the front, that was the widest rim/tires combination I could go without wheel rub. But stock wheels are 17x8 so at least 18x8.5 is slightly wider. But you're right, especially for track purposes, a 9" and 245/255 combination would add that much more tire tread on the road.
Coilovers are on the 2006 mod list so maybe I'll have to go 18x9 at that time. Of all my mods, rims were probably the biggest pain to get ahold of.

And the wheels are really nice on your car, and they sure look like they were well worth the effort!
