Alright you non-believers, here's proof of my mileage

Except for domn, no one could be sure of what I was saying, and some have dared to express their doubts, as if my word alone wasn't good enough!

So I bought me a nice little digicam and this is one of the first picture I took with it. You'll understand the quality is not up to par with the potential, I have yet to learn it's features, hehehe.

I think it's telling that you always have your cruise control on. Congrats on so much mileage. It speaks volumes about the k24.

Edit: All the pics I take of my dash (like when my car passed 10k miles) come out with a huge glare on the plastic thing. How do you get rid of that?

Kodak 7590

I know, I know...

But the deal was good, plus it was in taxless Delaware, and the selection of Canons was poor....

I thought this thread was going to be about the gas milage - I was wondering how you'd prove that. Who's doubting the "ever on the road" sauceman?

Quite a diff compared to the Euro Accord.

Sorry, it was taken with a camera even worse than the sauceman's - plus it's kind of hard to concentrate on picture taking at that speed - even with the cruise on.

120 isn't very fast. That's avg cruising speed here even though the limit is 100. I do 140 on a regular basis but kick it down to 120 in known speed traps.

jcg and dabuda, I didn't drive down there just for the digicam, they would have kicked my ass with 100% tax back at the customs. It was while driving back from vacation in the OBX.

domn, you know what? I actually considered holding out and try and contact you to see if you could hook me up with a better deal, but then I thought of it, and evaluated my chances at 50/50, plus I'd have to wait and all that so I said screw it, and I bought it there.

I love that place (Wilmington, DE), I should go down there more often. Oh and I don't believe I've ever seen so many TSXs in such a short span of time (4hrs~). I was waving my hand everywhere to everyone. I'm such a n00b.

Hmmm, I could maybe go and prove it on your Accord next time I fly to your side...

Otherwise, anyone who's nuts enough (besides me) to be willing to try a 1200km drive at 90kph with me is welcome to pop up here. That's like a drive to and back from Toronto on a single gas tank, so you may want to reflect on that!

That's funny. I regularly exceeded 80 and 90mph (129kph to 145kph) with my TSX (where appropriate). In my Jeep my commute was between 70 and 80mph (113kph to 129kph).

Wilmington isn't duty-free?? I was just teasing you.. thought it's interesting to say you love Wilmington. I've lived <1 hour from it for about 3/4 of my life and have never been.

There's only tax on out-of-country items that you declare
