cool doing the process in the parking lot!! haha

but, seriously, i didn't see any differences between the JDM's and the OEM's. that's y i didn't get the tails.
or maybe not much differences compared to the headlights. (one's orange, one's blue)

Theres something under it its a small piece of cardboard on each side, I used the rest to lay on (orginal box)

I live on an on campus dorm so this is how much space i had to work with.

Yea the blinkers are amber.

Jdm headlights are clear corners instead of amber

rear tailights are amber corners math much better than red. think your brake lights are red, and people see blinking red lights think brake instead of turning.

plus they see our mirror amber signals so it matchs nicely with all 3 turn signals amber.

lol you didn't have to take off the whole bumper.. you could have just loosened the top and you would have enough clearance to work with. Good stuff anyhow

Looks good man, I put these on my TSX earlier this year. I think the amber is a lot safer and more noticable during rainy weather and at night. I don't like turn signals the same color as the tailights.

ambers are more visible and the fact that they stand out when the driver is staring at your ass signaling

So because there is no side marker now, is there a different plug?

Are the lights in parallel before or after the connection?

Is there one pair of connectors vacant on the plug attached to the wiring harness?

Theres a bulb for the brake light
then the signal
then a smaller connection for the side marker with in the tailight

ill load pictures later if i can, but jdm lights only uses
brake and
signal

that extra connection is still there but it doesnt plug into the bulb.

the tailights are interesting becasue its the bulb that is attached to a socket, then plugs into the harness.

So that 3rd harness just floats around.

Hmmmm.... so you spent money to get JDM headlights to remove amber color from the car, and then bought taillights to add amber color to the car...

I sort of see your point of view about the consistency in signal color, but then why get rid of it in the front? I know the front are just side markers and not blinkers, but it seems counter-intuitive. There are a lot of cars on the road with blinking red signals... and red color transmits better than any other color in bad weather conditions, hence, why brake lights, well, are red.

Personal preferences, my good man. I have JDM headlights and tailights on my TSX as well. I think every color TSX except yours, Milano Red, looks better without the orange corner up front. I for one could care less about "being JDM" (not to knock those who wish to follow that route) I just got it because I think it looks better. Same reason I made my Wal-Mart-DM manifold cover and sparkplug cover.

Yep, I guess that is why we all do what we do to our TSXs. Just sharing my .

jdm corners were better in my opinion for the blue, but in the rear as well amber signals makes it great at night.

So why is there no side marker light? It looks like there's no side reflector, either. Do the JDM cars have an extra marker somewhere on the rear fender, like the TL does??

I don't think so. JDM law doesn't require a reflector or a light there. So running JDM tails in the US is technically illegal but I doubt anyone will ever notice.

i think it looks nice, but personally, and this has no opinion toward the OP, it wouldn't be worth the hundreds of dollars to change my turn signal from red to amber.

Well its only 210 so to consider its jdm, its a reasonable mod for the looks and jdm boasting rights.

I guess I don't quite get that.

If eveyone is so in to JDM, why don't you convert all of your interiors to the crappy, bland, Accord-style JDM interiors?

I guess JDM is only cool if you think it looks cooler... but to me, to do something "just to be JDM" is pointless.

b/c everyone sees the outside first, not the inside.

to each his own. personally, i'm not a fan of the full JDM conversions, particularly rebadging. but i do think the JDM head-/tail-lights are a nice touch to make your car stand out a little more.

I completely agree about the re-badging, and I do think the JDM headlights are a very nice mod due to the removal of the amber and how much better that looks on most colors.

I was just saying to do something jut to be JDM seems like a waste. Trust me, this is not limited to the TSX or Acuras... when I owned a Passat, VW guys would try to be uber-Euro by replacing their taillights and such and you could hardly tell a difference... but at that time the Euro headlights were HIDs and the USDM headlights were halogen, and that, to me, is a major difference and worthwhile... but not just to say "now I'm more Euro/JDM".

I was thinking about doing the whole jdm process, but I wasn't going to go cheap and go get accord mats, If i was going get the euro r grill and the badges I would then look into getting all the interior stuff as well, but being the case i lack funds i still stick with what i can get.

210 were jdm new
i got it 170 shipped

about a fair price.

I mainly did it cuz i managed to get stuff at a decent price, i'm still debating on a mugen grill, but i won't take the plunge yet on it new for that price.

i do like the amber corners my friends following me noticed it, and was like now your car reminds me of an rsx except they did the opposite got rid of amber and made them red haha
