I am seriously considering doing this mod and I'm currently struggling with the same decision... two rings or three? I think during the day and when signaling, two rings would look best. At night though, all three rings look amazing! What would be perfect is if I could get a clear lens for the turn signal and use an orange bulb. (I don't care for the blue side markers of the JDM lights though, so that option is out.)

If you end up going through with this, please let me know which method you choose and post pics!

Any idea what painted looks like? I haven't seen any pics. This may be a stupid question, but does "clearing" the amber turn signals simply mean removing the lens?

Well, you don't like the blue side markers on the 06-08 JDM lights.
You don't like the orange turn lenses on the OEM or 04-05 JDM lights.

So why not buy the ones off of ebaY?

They have clear turns, and clear side markers.

Yes, you can put an amber bulb inside of a clear lensed turn light.
That's what I'm going to do.

2 rings or 3?

Well, I would go with AAC no matter what. I think in comparison, the Umnitza
is just too low quality for me. The AAC lights are better built and of a higher
quality overall. If you only use 2 of the 3 rings, they'll take some money off
most likely. They've done so for folks in the past anyway.

I really would like to go with AAC, mainly because of you MMs and how highly you speak of them. The pictures you posted also look amazing!

I didn't realize there were headlights available on Ebay with both cleared side markers and turn signals. I'm not an experienced Ebay user and had assumed that the Ebay Canada website would have displayed the same items. Looking at Ebay.com, I see the lights you're talking about. There are two brands... Roku Creations and Kaze Speed. Does anybody know which are better? I'm also curious how they can sell two headlights for so cheap... that kind of makes me nervous. I know the OEM headlights are around $300-400 a piece.

EDIT: Another question... when you buy the cleared headlights from ebay, I assume it is still your responsibility to find and purchase the orange bulbs for the side markers and turn signals?

nope.

the thinline predator angle eyes are different.
they're from Umnitza, they're only 2 rings, and they're 6000k, not 8000k.

they're components seem to be of a slightly lesser quality as well.

Man i wish i could just edit my original post instead of posting 3 separate times...
Just for clarification......
I noticed that you have the JDM headlights.... i was curious if there was a way to convert my USDM headlights into the JDM...
e.g. is there a way to scratch off the amber color of the indicator and just add the amber lightbulb?

Thanks in Advance
Eddie

2 holes go below each ring. Also maybe a hole or two on the back
part of the housing for the wires to come out of.
The cold cathode circles need to be glued in place in a couple different

The ballasts need to be mounted and the wires need to be run.
The lights need to be baked again, then clamped back together.
Then they need to be mounted to the car and wired however you want them.

They'll do any lights you send to them. So yes, send them extra USDM ones.
They'll do projector swaps for you too.
They'll professionally paint your housings too if you want.
when you drill holes how do we make sure it is air tight to prevent condensation? is there any alternative for non drilling holes?

silicone sealant just put gobs of it over the hole. i doubt there is any drilless way the angel eyes are inside and need to be ran to a power source.

Hello everyone...I ordered the 3 ring halo kit and was wondering where do you find the clear signal lenz and the clear driving lights lenz. If I'm going to put the sexy halo's in I might as well do it right like MMsTSX's beautiful TSX!!!

JDM lights (about $800 or so)
Oracle Kit installed ($375)
JDM fog light harness and switch ($75)
Installation of independent wiring and lights ($150 or so)

Demon Eyes Kit

Whoa, I must have got lucky. I managed to snag an Oracle 3 ring kit off e-bay for $130sih and will do the install myself, kinda good at the stuff! I would like to paint the shroud too while I have them apart but I'll probably have that done at an auto shop...don't really trust my painting technique, well, perhaps not the technique but more the patience part of it lol!

Still, I have been searching around for the clear turn signal lens and the clear driving lights lens because I think the only way to have the 3 ring setup is if they are clear, especially the turning lens. I've searched on e-bay but have come up with nothin', can anyone point me in the direction of a pair, at least the turn signals? I will post pics when mine is complete, I gots a white TSX, equally as sexy as the black!!! To add, I've already replaced the interior lights (bay, rear, glovebox, trunk, licence plate and doors) with a white LED package off e-bay (about $60) and I must say to anyone with this car that they are NEEDED, the factory should ship them with, it adds tons to appeal to the car without a whole bunch of cost!!!!

those LEDs off of ebay are junk.
you got ripped off.

you should have got them at either superbrightleds.com or autolumination.com.
trust me.

as for clear turns and sides:

they don't exist on their own.

but they do exist, in the format of the 04-05 headlights.

look up JDM TSX lights on ebay, these cheap ass knock-offs will come up.
the projectors are junk, but they do have clear lenses all the way around.

Apparently, there's a new seller on eBay that uses actual HID projectors in the headlights. Someone from the other site tested them out, and they seem to be of very good / high quality. You clearly see the cutoff beam pattern (USDM too) against a wall...

I will be selling a set of Advanced Automotive Concepts Oracles, never used, put on, but I gave up after looking at the wiring.

The set includes 2 rings for the DRL and 2 smaller rings for the smaller rings and 4 inverters. Because its not a full set I won't charge close to the retail price, if you are interested in having 2 rings each side and don't want to pay $300 for the set, give me a PM and we'll work something out.

I am also on t s x c l u b .com with the same nick. I just won TSX of the month for May 08'. Come check out my car

MMsTSX dude I got them from advanced_automotive_concepts (AAC) on e-bay, isn't that the same place you did? Anyway, it was an auction format that ended at like 3:50AM and I guess I was the only guy up then bidding on them lol. Thanks for the info on the clear lenses, I will hunt for them

yeah, it doesn't matter where the Oracle Kit came from.

AAC is the only company who makes the Oracle Kit and it's by far the best
quality angle eye kit on the market. So whatever you got it for, or wherever you
bought it, good for you.

the problem I had was that you bought your interior LEDs from ebay.
I did that at first, until I found the much better ones elsewhere.

Here, I'll help you out:

DOOR LIGHTS:
TRUNK LIGHT:
LICENSE PLATE LIGHTS:
http://www.superbrightleds.com/mini-wedge.html
scroll down till you see:
WLED-WHP LED Wedge Base Bulbs
Buy these, they're a blue/white glow, very nice and bright
You'll need at least 5 of these.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

VANITY LIGHTS:
http://autolumination.com/festoon.htm
scroll down till you see:
Vanity Mini 3 Led SMT Festoon
You'll need to buy 2 (at least)
Get white, they glow blue/white.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

MAP LIGHTS:
DOME LIGHT:
http://autolumination.com/festoon.htm
scroll down till you see:
6 LED Super High Flux
You'll need to buy 3 (at least) of the:
31mm = 1-1/4" Long 6LED

I'd get the white, it matches the blue/white hue perfectly of the others
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

CENTER CUBBY LIGHT:
GLOVE BOX LIGHT:
http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-b...8.2376&next=50
scroll down until you see:
74-xHP Wedge Base LED Bulb
you'll need about 2 or so of these, in white. they also glow blue/white.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

there you have it.

MMs... thanks for the info. Now I don't have to go and search around the forum. Btw, all of these are direct replacement, right? All I have to do is take the old bulb out, plug in the new one, and done?

If so, I'm going to order everything up right now...

yup, direct replacement.

the map lights and dome light are a bit tough to snap in.
the map lights have to go at an angle.

stock is 30 mm we buy 31 mm, so it's a stretch, but all are direct fit.

I didn't have to struggle with anything to get it to fit.

??

I'm not adding anything.
I'm replacing the ugly stock yellow bulbs with nice, more efficient, white/blue
LED bulbs. They're brighter, clearer and much more pleasing of a color.

christmas tree? hardly.

supertrex are you kidding me LED christmas lights???? I chose the while lights as well, yes you can get all the fancy colors and would probably look cheap....I'd take pictures of mine but can never take a good photo in semi dark night. Keep your yellow stock lights though, just looks like diluted pee ha!

Thanks MMsTSX, I still needed the vanity lights...amadeus303 leds need to be put in the correct way to fire, so if it doesn't light up the one way, flip it around and try again!!! When I got my package I did get one dome light that wouldn't fire and had to send it back. But then again, I got 9 LED replacements for $60 w/shipping. (2 dome, 1 cabin, 2 doors, 1 glovebox, 1 trunk, and 2 licence plates) Definently go with the white it matches the stock dash lights like MMsTSX said.

What do you mean by 'center cubby light?' Are you talking about the top door above the 'not and ashtray' door, or are you talking about the arm rest cubby hole? Also, those angel eye halos look phenomenal! I'm getting them... its now getting 1st priority on my mod-list after seeing those pics. You did say those were AAC Oracle... right?

Okay, Sorry to post two in a row, but I just thought of a potential problem: Will these AAC Oracle angel eyes work on the TSX OEM headlights? In other words, did you have different headlights than the factory ones, or do they fit on the factory headlights? I also noticed on AAC Oracle's web page that their kit contains halos for only the low and high beams... not the turn signals.

center cubby is the cubby above the "not an ashtray" cubby.

yes, these halos are from AAC.

yes, they will work on the TSX OEM lights.

their website is labeled incorrectly.

I might as well get white LEDs for my vanitys and blue for my center cubby hole. The cubby hole isn't bright enough for me. I already have 9LEDs for the doors, dome, maps, and trunk, therefore I might as well just complete the collection. So I was fiddling around with the green light on the ceiling of the cubby hole, and it isn't just a simple bulb swap like all the others. This one's very different. How did you accomplish getting the 74-xHP LED into the cubby light?

take out the cubby.
then twist the light out and change it.

I didn't like how dark it was still, so I further modified it.
I cut off the dimming screen that sits below the light so I could
expose the light to the cubby directly.
worked great.

to take the cubby out, you basically just pull.
open it, put a fist or two in there and pull.
