73,000 mile detail

Just got her detailed....73,000 miles and not a single problem (knock on wood). Just replaced the first set of front pads.

I'm keeping it till the wheels fall off. Hopefully they will be making a good looking TSX by then

True dat. I had a few domestics before I bought this. None of them held up past 50k.

very nice looking- my 06 has almost 86,000 miles-still with the original brakes. Luckily I also own another car and truck or I would have way over 100,000 miles by now

Car is certainly looking good for as many milieage as you have. I'm jealous of you guys... I have an 04 w/ 87,000 miles on it (purchased back in 12/03) as a DD and fortunately I too have been problem free!

Thanks for the kudos. I took it in for a state inspection today. Thought this was an interesting shot:

As much as I've tried, I still can't stand that front end!

Nice!
I'm thinking about getting a professional detail done on my '06 here soon. Just hit 60K. I can do a pretty good job by myself, but I just don't have some of the tools to get a picture perfect finish.

I'm with you on the 'driving till the wheels fall off' thing too.
Still love my car like the day I got it.

I can't stand that 2009 front end as well. That is one reason that i can't ever get that new model. Also, the new electric steering that replaced the power steering of previous TSX robs the car of its handling and feel.

Good to know if I keep detailing my 06' every other month it will look like that! I got mine last summer at 23,000 miles, yea later has 42,000. Had the brakes replaced at 32,000 (guess the company that owned the car before had a heavy foot), then just got my car back today after getting a new window master switch installed.

those 06-08 wheels are starting to grow on me. I always prefered the 04-05 ones.

what state do you reside in? can you get away with no front plates?

congrads man, i'm at only 74,000 on my TSX, but mine's a 2004, so if I drove like you did, I may have been well over 100,000 miles by now.

So the TSX was looking a little lonely in the garage. Snagged this up today... ;-)

That's about right....this was 5 1/2 months ago. I'm a little over 70K now.

Been averaging ~20K/year over the life of the car.

Thanks man. I'm up over 84k now. I keep trying to justify the S by thinking that it will keep some miles off of the TSX.....
