207,777 miles time to retire 05 abp tsx =(
Might be time to retire the car, i'm running into more problems with the tranny, shift sensors and solenoids are causing the car to not shift properly. Sad to see it go but this car made a good run 0- 207,777

Well guys i've made it, other than the tranny problem and some burning oil the car is still holding up.
I thought it would be perfect to take a picture of the car in front of the dealership it came from. They haven't seen an abp in awhile they say...

what do people on this country usually do to their cars when the time has come? I'm an international student and just like your tsx, my tl is not very far from 200k. So far no problems whatsoever
Like a member on here has said, your car does look good indeed

I'd say just get another swap .. But that's just me.. I rather have a car with 200+ and a low mileage swap then buy another car I have no clue what it's been though.. :-) ( that's if u want to keep the tsx)

Absolutely gorgeous TSX, I've always loved it. Sorry to hear about the retirement.

Several questions:
1) Are you the original owner of the car?
2) Have you changed the transmission oil in the past? If so, how many times and at what mileage?
One last thing. Before you give up on the car, please try using this product

It is only about $12 dollars at an auto parts store. I have had great success with it on another older car. I thought i had to get new tranny. But putting in this product has made it work again! shifts great. Please try it.

Damn, good luck buddy. I remember you from a while back, when this forum was hoppin. My 05 is still going strong, but I work from home. I hear you about the transmission problem though....
Best of luck with the new car.

When would you say the forum was hoppin? And when would you say it stopped hoppin? I miss the hoppin days :-(

Noooooo..... OG down... OG down... I had an episode 2 weeks ago where I couldn't get mine to shift gears. I figured out that when I got out of my car I spilled my mocha near the shifter and it made the switch underneath it stick and not work. At first it wouldn't go into gear, then it went in to gear and worked for a minute, then switched gears on me. Finally got it home and threw the code reader on it to figure out what happened. My trouble shooting brought me to my mocha spill messing up the switch under the center console. You might have a similar issue.
