You have to disengage the parking brake to turn them on, but if you put the parking brake back on, the DRL's will stay on until you turn the car off.

No DRL's on 2007's only for Canadian models, I tried with the parking brake and it even says in manual Canadian models only.

All it said was that you had Xenon's for the low beam and high beam, meaning you had the low beam xenons on when you turned on the high beam. I'm confused too, I thought they gave me an '06 by mistake, but the manual says 2007 and it states in there that no Xenons are on the high beam.

A lot of cars with Bi-xenon headlights will still have a pair of halogen high beams, you should turn on the high beams to see if you see any extra output from the HID's, because if it has Bi-xenon, the slit in the HID housing will move to allow more light output, as well as the halogen high beams turning on.

They do this because the HID's won't turn on fast enough when they're already on and you flash your high beams, that's why both are used.

About the wording, I'm pretty sure it did say 'Bi-xenon' headlights at one point about a month ago, but the site has been updated apparently.

My 06 has DRLs. It's called never turning your lights off because they'll turn off automatically when you pull the key.

Nice, actually tells you the readings. I thought it was one of those that only gives you a warning when you're running low...

A car cannot be sold in canada by law without DRL.

So the 2004 TSX in Canada should have DRL's.

Beautiful!

Even though I chose the parchment interior, I love the ebony interior as well.

Just love the TSX's interior, period.

Yeah run at least 35-36 psi for best MPG and tire wear.

Every car sold in Canada since the mid to late 90's has DRL's.

Your tire pressures are off.

That is cool.

My 04 does NOT have DRL but there is a yellow light that has the letters DRL on it that never goes on. It can be seen when the maintanance reminded is flashing as it illuminates the DRL light a bit too.

I am wondering if it's a feature that all TSXs have but is disabled on US models.

I didnt know people had issues with TPMS systems, Ive never had an issue over the last 6 years...then again, you did say Toyota and Nissan, neither of which I have experience with. I imagine that would suck.

My dad's 2002 Mercedes S500 has a TPMS that has worked flawlessly for the past 5 years and 60,000 miles. This week, he purchased a 2007 S550 and gave the S500 to my mom. My guess is the TPMS will continue to work flawlessly. So I'm guessing a TPMS delveloped for a car in the year 2007 shouldn't have too many problems.

Back to the lights. Pardon my ignorance guys, but all HIDs are xenon, aren't they? My 06 comes with HID lows and halogen highs. However, the TL, according to acura.ca (yes I'm a Canadian in Canada) and appearance, comes with 'bi-xenon' HIDs. What's the diff? Because the TL's lights definitely look 'bluer'. Mine look blue when I turn em on, but get less blue after about 10 or 15 seconds.

The site has been updated, but still gives wrong information if somebody has confirmed that the TSX does NOT have Bi-Xenon's and DRL's.

Here are screenshots of the site today, which clearly states that the TSX has both of these features. If you bought one and it doesn't have them, I'd be asking questions to Acura.

Yes, all HID's are xenon. The difference between your HID's and the TL is that the TL has HID lights for both low beams and high beams (that's what Bi-Xenon means). Your high beams are Halogen lights with a yellowish tint.

The color of the lights should look the same (more white really than blue). The angle you are looking at the light (say in your rearview mirror) will determine if it looks white or blue. The TSX and TL are a little different in height and thus they will look a bit different when you see them out on the road, but I believe they are the same headlight.
