1st Comptech supercharged TSX on the East Coast!

Comptech supercharger is installed! Just waiting for the ECU to come back from Hondata. After talking to Comptech I found out only 3 superchargers were shipped in the first batch. This is the first one installed outside of Comptech

Did you have to change the throttle body boot? Curious because I don't see the IAT sensor or hole.

Congrats...and Welcome to the Supercharger crew

I've had mine for about 1800 miles now and I'm definitely enjoying it. Have fun with yours!

Who did the install?

It's there on the bottom side. You just can't see it. Since the throttle body is relocated when you install the SC then you have to flip the throttle body boot around the other way to make the Injen intake fit.

Very cool looking, I'm sure you'll love it. Supercharger madness is creeping up on me, I am feeling like I will have no choice but to supercharge my TSX in the next year or so. I wonder what it does to longevity if used sparingly but still used . . .

Damn, that's awesome. I like the look of JDM valve and spark cover with Comptech carbon fiber supercharger. It looked so nice! I really want one but $$$$. I hope to get one someday.

It is possibly the most controversial looking TSX on here.

TSX 536:

Yes I have been driving the supercharged TSX. It is great, the power delivery is smooth and strong above 3000 RPMs. When upshifting the power comes on strong and pulls all the way to redline. The RPMs stay above 3000 RPMs after most upshifts so there is no delay in power. The sound is also amazing, you can hear the air rushing into the engine and at high RPMs you can hear the distinctive whine of the supercharger, yet at idle the sound of the engine is nearly like stock. I am very happy with this upgrade and I would reccomend this modification to anyone looking for more power all around out of their TSX.

Kangjin:

I overnighted the ECU to Comptech Thursday night so they recieved it on Friday and overnighted it to Hondata and the ECU was delivered to me Monday morning. So it only took Hondata a day to reflash it and ship it back out.

Benz_05_TSX:

Maybe I will try to make a video clip one day when I have time. I am unsure of the dates of the next magazines I will be in.

Glad you're enjoying the mod. I agree with you, the sound is great! The best word I can think of to describe it is "intoxicating" Yeah it sounds close to stock at idle. I was really surprised by how quiet is actually is. Well have fun with your ride and drive safe. Keep us updated as you drive the car more
