plus i already took off the rotas and put the volks back on - i'm either going to sell the rotas or just keep them for autox, my original plan

There is a way you can keep them both and the house. I know I did it.

Counting all the aftermarket and stock wheels I have, I have a total of 5 sets of wheels (2 sets on the cars and 3 sets sitting in the garage). Damn...

Yeah AutoX sounds fun.

Do they usually match you up with others cars in the same class?

Yes, they do. They have different classes for almost every car. The classes range from stock to mildly modded to heavily modded to fully built race cars. With the mods that dzuy has, his car falls in STX (Street Touring Extreme) unfortunately.

Tsx536, I believe your region should be San Francisco Region (SFR). If you're interested in trying it out, check out their website, http://www.sfrscca.org/index.phtml.

looks great dzuy, very nice for a 17in wheel! I recommend keeping the volks as well (if you haven't decided already), you just can't get the $$ they're worth because people can't appreciate the work you had to go through to get them

thanks.

i'm keeping the volks and selling the rotas.

i can't justify having two sets of wheels, plus i really need the extra cash.

i wasn't expecting to get a house so soon, but oh well

Back from the dead...

Did someone on this board end up buying them? I wonder why he didn't go with 235's instead of 225's Do they end up sticking out or rubbing? I think the stock TL's are 235's, right?

the 18" torques DON'T have the proper center bore or offset, i've done my fair amount of ROTA research

Is 17' is the biggest? I always wanted that euro-r style but thought it was too small. 18' or 19'????

The RT don't come in 235/45/17? I thought 17 x 8 was a good width for 235's? I think the TL runs 235's on 7-1/2s?

what doesn't make sense?

yes, 235/45/17 is a good size for a 17x8 wheel

no, the Falken Azenis RT-615 tire does not come in 235/45/17, therefore 225/45/17 is the closest to factory sizing.

yes, the stock TL tires are 235/45/17

no, the TL has 17x8 wheels

Thanks. The way he worded it sounded off. He refered to "RT" not being available in 235. I immediately though RT= rota torque and said to myself, why does Rota care if you use Falkens or not?

Thanks for the correction on the TL's width.
