Well really this will end up having a double photoshoot...these pictures don't do justice to the detail job I just did on the car.



















It went 5 weeks without being washed since the last oil change. I let the dealership wash it then...bleh...but this is the first time I detailed the car since I bought it and I didn't even detail it then...which was back in June. Unfortunately I haven't scrounged up any cash to get the UDM yet so I did everything by hand. I spent 2 hours washing it Saturday night and then spent about 1.5 hours clay baring it Sunday morning. Then 4 hours applying F21 polish and then Mequiars NXT Tech Wax to the paint Sunday afternoon. I haven't been this satisfied with a job well done since the time I did my old car last year. I wish I had a better camera to capture the results before Houston weather rolls in to trash my hard work. Luckily it rained over the weekend...some splatter on the trip back to the apartment and Ikea but it still smooth and soft. I plan on doing a photo shoot on campus tomorow too. Another update tomorow.

AND...its stock because my parents have made me consent to keeping it stock while in school until I get out...stipulations of getting a new car....

Also...still learning the whole photography thing on a point and shoot camera...so yeah pictures of course aren't that great...

Mmmm PWP...I don't think any pictures really do justice to that color. It's just one of those colors that have to be seen in person to really appreciate. Nice pics!

Geat Pictures!!! I got my 08 PWP/black about 6 weeks ago and I have no regrets about the color combo.

My favorite picture is the of the rear. I think it's the best part of the car!!!

Honestly these are nice photos. Also your car looks great.

I have to ask though, are you advertising for IKEA or something? Your community has to have a better backdrop than IKEA? If not I would recommend moving.

but honestly...I think all you need is a drop, the way it looks right now is great already, somehow white is just a color that could pull off the stock look...

hey man...I just saw this sweet TSX from the other forum...I think he has it done nicely, you should consider...to the average adult, they can not tell that's modded...but if your parents are the source of your modding money now..than I guess not....

Nah I just felt like having that photoshoot last minute...theres a couple sites on campus that I want to take but I'm gonna wait til thanksgiving when all the cars are gone. I had a photoshoot earlier this year at the Sugar Mill...it was with my friend's Mazdaspeed 6. I can't wait to get a better camera though...

Well the thing is my last car...was a 4runner and I did alot to it...painting and electronics...the works but I got pretty tired of it and in that car when I got it I made the same promise and I didn't keep it. So...it's more of a personal issue that I made the same promise the second time and they got me a new car...last time they got me the 4runner used. I originally did want a used IS300 and not a brand new TSX...and so the fact is...aside from how I'd feel if I did that around their back but also the fact that it's brand new I don't want to mess with it quite yet.

I still have about 2.5 years left in school...car modding kept me in for another year...unfortunately... But all in all...that car is very nice. I've seen it before and that does make me want to drop the car. I already have a list going...18" Mugen NRs and Tein Comfort Series Suspension as soon as I graduate. Right now my parents are the owners but when I graduate I get the title...so it'll be mine for sure...
