Was digging through old photos and saw these. I took these earlier this year when I had a '06 loaner. I meant to upload these pics to compare the '04 vs '06 changes, but never gotten around in doing it... probably nothing new by now.

Anyway, here it is, my '04 bug guts special edition vs teh '06 loaner.

great side by side comparison pics......i noticed some small differences between the 2 cars that i never knew before. for me, the design of the '06 is my favorite.

I've always had a hard time seeing the differences between a 04/05 and 06 from the back of the car. The only way I can tell from the side is by the OEM rims.

^^ the reverse lights are different... that's the only way I can tell...

Take a second look at the front below the bumper or at the wheels. And, the 06 has the XM antenna whereas the 04 does not.

Its because 04 is dirty and didnt washed the car. It has nothing to do with the paint job.

Yeah, my car was covered with bugs...... although I still hate how easy the paint chips, my front bumper is FILLED with rock chips.

I like the '06 taillights, though, might swap them if I can find them for cheap.

Just in case anyone still thinks the '06 has better paint (one way or the other):





They are the same, just that the car was really dirty in the first set of pics. In this set, 2 coats of Zaino Z5, and 3 coats of Z2

I had a fly that tried to land on the hood and literally slid off cause it was sooooooo smooth.... Those 5 coats lasted me for 6 months, too. It's that time of the year again, but still haven't gotten the chance to do it.

A Cake On

I like the way the 04/05 grill looks due to the additional chrome trim on the upper side. Makes the grill look slightly more aggressive (aggressive in relative terms of course). The 06 front end looks kind of soft. I do like the lower end of the 06 front though with the fog light and how it looks molded in.
