very nice!! very interested when you start selling them. one question though, when you say complete kit, you mean harness, wires, lens....the works, right? or do you just mean the lens itself?

Those are pretty cool man, great for the people that keep bitching about wanting fogs on with the parking lights because they are obviously interested in appearance

yeah they are not a new thing but i still have to patent the design of the piece that holds the leds at the correct angle.

Awesome! You said they're not difficult to install? How about for someone who doesn't have a lot of experience with wiring in a car? ie...me. I'm certainly not stupid when it comes to stuff like this, but I also lack in experience. How detailed will the installation instructions be?

Any chance of doing a group buy with a little discount?

Can you tell I'm ready to buy right when you put these out?

Edit:
One more thing. In the unlikely even that an individual LED burns out, are they individually replaceable or would that require replacing the entire light assembly?

we ever getting any daytime pictures and closeups. I mean if you are going to try to sell those you are those kind of pictures. It seems you have some pepole really interested in this but you havent produced the needed photos to show people cosmetically what it looks like during the day.

looks easy but the trick is in the peice that holds the leds in the correct angle. its very hard to get them to point where you want since the viewing angle is so narrow and the once leds are set in place and soldered the leds cannot be moved or soldering weakens and breaks off or even worse you break off the little legs then you have to start all over from the begining again waisting a bunch of expensive leds, fog covers and my special little secret thing. trust me i was gonna go nucking futs and almost gave up until my dad (which by the way is an engineer) had came up with a solution and that is why im going to patent the design of the rear which is the part im gonna keep secret.. i thought i just had to drill holes and place the leds inside and then wire them to the corner lamps boy was i wrong it took me and my dad two weeks of trial and error and a lot of money to develop somthing that works and that made him and I happy because Im a perfectioinist and especially him the engineer who is down to the millimeter.
please keep in mind that these are the prototypes and the finished product will be in better condition and might come with covers even though i think it is not needed.

Awesome, those look great. I can't wait to get my hands on them.

There's really no problem without there being covers on there? You don't have trouble with water damage/rust/corrosion?

Let's say first, I really like the look!!

... but charching 150 dollar or so for them is stupid imo. You can just buy a row of leds in a housing in a specialised electronics shop...saves a lot of time instead of making all connections yourself. just mo

yes that might be true but you cannot get 80,000 mw leds in a strip trust me i tried searching a lot of places. couldnt find the strip that has those type of leds so i had to fabricate my own and plus you wont be able to get the harness that i fabricate using honda oem connectors. i was even gonna do a write up but since we went through so much trouble (and im a pretty handy guy as well as my dad) i wont do a write up and have to write like 5 pages of stuff most people cant do because the lack of expierience and tools. so in reality you have to spend much more on tools and then all of the rejects that you throw away because its crooked or it doesnt look right or you just playing mess up. and then you'll have to end up splicing your cars cables and maybe shorting something. im not asking anyone to buy them im just letting you know i can make these for you so you dont have to make the mistakes i did. if you want to try be my guest .. i also said under 150.00

just do a search on google for 'led strip white'

sorry...maybe you all mean it good...but it looks like making money to me... soldering some leds is not 'experience or special tools' stuff as you name it. Just a soldering thing for 3 dollar in the 'sale box'.

but... I really like the looks you made... I would want to have it for myself (if I not had fogs already mounted into it )

those look cool but it doesnt tell you how many mili watts are the leds. superbright doesnt mean anything because superbrightleds.com only have up to 18,000mw leds and the ones im using are 30,000mw almost twice as bright.
plus do you think that i would be going through the trouble of making these for free. i take about a good 5 hours to make a set. you do it for free for everyone.
plus im only charging like 30-40.00 above cost so i dont know what the big deal is.
but thanks for your input anyways..

I like it. Looks cool, man . I might be interested....only thing is I don't know how to do that kind of stuff so I won't be able to do it myself. Wonder if I could take it somewhere to be installed. How easy/hard will it be to install? Think an Acura dealer would be willing to put it in for me at my next service?

all you you have to do is unplug your corner lamp. plug into the harness then plug the short wire connector to the corner lamp and push the other wire through fog light hole in the bumper then plug the fogs to the connectors and pop the housing.

That sounds quite complicated to me...will there be a diagram or anything like that included with everything? I'm sure it's not really that bad, I just don't want to mess up my car and I'm not really familiar with car wiring.

I've got to close this thread now. You can't advertise to our members without vendor status. We do allow members to sell individual items through our black market section, but sales of volume aren't allowed, even if you're going to be selling through ebay.

If you'd like clarification of the rules, feel free to send myself or astroboy a PM.
