Where's the mods?

It seems as if performance mods are rare on this site as time goes by. When i first joined this site, i noticed everyone was power hungry, and constantly talkin about new performance mods, etc. but as time goes on.. the topics seem to be more on the general side. Does anyone have major plans to their car anymore, does anyone kno any release dates of the mods we want most? has anyone even contacts those campanies anymore? holla back at ur boy and let me kno whas good.

That's just it, not too many mods you can go with right now besides I/H/E for performance, except the little things that JTso (whatever happened to him BTW) showed us. Calling these shops daily for the same response is redundant in regards to turbo, and superchargers. The most you can do is exterior mods, but this is not the typical car that is bought for modifications. I personally think the car looks good with some exterior modifications, but that's just me and a few of us on here.

Think we should start a new thread where those that have modifications should post 1-3 pics of their rides, with a list of mods, kind like a gallery of the cars from this site. I say 1-3, cause we know how people like to put up 40+ pics at once. J/K

As soon as Hondata makes their K-Pro available for the TSX, you should see another wave of modifications here. Meanwhile there is only so much you can do to improve the car, and it's through bolt ons, but many members are already well into this and are waiting for Hondata to get moving so they can do too.

I have an LSD installed does that count? There's not much that can be said or done if the products are still in development. Just wait and see. I personally am waiting for Hondata K-pro but judging from what I've been reading elsewhere it won't be ready till the end of the year.

I think Kurt Bradley also has one installed in his car. It might have been in his RSX but he said it makes a big difference.

power mods eh? imo the tsx is a decent platform to start these mods, but i, like many members in this forum, are only semi interested in doin it

probably b/c the lack of support from many of the aftermarket...i mean, i've been willing to buy a titanium exhaust for over a year, and they were tentatively supposed to be out by feb this year. no such luck here.

and to answer your question, if you plan to add a turbo, getting a header is pointless b/c it'll be incompatible with the turbo..

b/c honda is gay. and it would cost more.

interesting fact: i bought a best motoring video that compares the civic type r, integra type r (dc5r) and the cl7 euro r (our tsx souped up )

guess what costs the most????

the dc5r! ouch. not here in the states, the tsx cost ~3k more than the rsx type s. how gay is that?

and why can't we have the k20a? damn it. us always gets screwed.

no more type r's over here. grrrrrrrrrr. i'm pissed! i hate this thread! grrrrrrrrr

1. Cost
2. Limited marketability - most people think LSD is a drug.
3. Torque steer is increased substantially in a FWD car with an LSD.

the aftermarket scene for the tsx is just getting started (i hope), there are really no options for N/A or F/I for the TSX as of yet. Although I really want to go F/I with the car, I probably will go the N/A route once more mods come available. Once Hondata gets out :blaze:

670 plus shipping is gonna probably be more than 713. You should take it and run while you can!

that's pretty cheap. find out how much it is TOTAL.

i'm guessing it's 713 shipped tho, they usually give prices that include shipping already at racing zone.

I think it was a phantom grip (pseudo-LSD).

your gay. you're a guy and you don't know what a LSD is and you don't have a MT.

j/k man

LSD = limited slip differential.
