What intake should i put in my '06 tsx?

i want to put a intake in my automatic 06 tsx but i wondering if i should spend $300 and get a good name liek injen or K&N or go on ebay and get a know name intake? Is ther really a big difference. all i want it for is the sound i know i wont get any horsepower from it.

I rode in S14 N TSX's 05 6MT with a Typhoon CAI.

Wow, I can definitely percieve more power in the higher RPM. The Sound is great too.

Initially, I was afraid that it would sound like RICE, but it does not. Its a very aggressive sound that is deep and even reminds of the G35's engine sound.

Intake sound > Exhaust sound because you can choose when you want it loud and when you want it silent.

since you want it for sound, and not a specific gain or what not. go with injen cai.. it sounds great. if you don't want that, go with the k&n typhoon because it is pretty similar to the injen.

it doesnt wake up all the neighbors .. as you guys know that you have control of hearing the deep sound .. DUHHH

reason why im not getting an exhaust cause i dont want it to be always loud.

Cold air will fit in the auto's......
If you want a short ram, get the injen which converts.

Its a cold air intake which also converts to short ram. You can put it on your car whichever way you want. You can have it as cold air and just convert it to short ram on bad rainy days if your worried your car might go through a deep flood and hydrolock.

I got it and its been good to me
