It was during the winter...too cold to do it by hand and there isn't a touchless carwash place within 100 miles of here, apparently.

Thats good enough for me. These will be going on my car when the OEM pads wear out.

For pads, try Porterfield R4-S pads and get Centric "premium" rotors, but if you have cash to burn, get DBA rotors. For street driving, the R4-S has good bite, lasted almost 50K miles, does not squeak like h@!! (think carbon kevlar...), and it does not leave a black dusty mess on the rims. Those R4-S pads are almost as good as Pagid "yellow" pads when I used to drive a certain "other brand" car. Cheers...

Do you find that the ceramics squeak at all? Also, did you have to machine your stock rotors when you put in new pads?

Brake Pads

Hands down across these forums Hawk Ceramic brake pads seem to be the chose ones. I recently put them on my TSX and I think the high speed braking has great bite. Low speed you will notice a modest difference.

The brake do not squeek, I got them from Tirerack, but they do produce more dust then the OEM's

I actually used EBC Greenstuff pads instead of the others mentioned just to be different. I think they do a great job, much better then the OEMs thats for sure. Some people bash them because they say they squeak a lot, but I havent really noticed. I havent noticed any squeaking at all within the past year. Seems to only happen as their getting broken in. They will stop you in a big hurry if you need it. Love em....

Could you guys pls post from where you are getting the brake pads from ?? (ebay / online retailers or B&M Stores ?? )

Initially i thought of buying Axxis ULT and after reading the posts in this forum i am now thinking abt getting either Hawk HPS or EBC Green Stuff..

And i am planning to use them on the OEM Rotors ( as i am not replacing my rotors)..

Thanks
