Weapon R intake...

Have you guys ever used this brand intake? They are cheap and was wondering if they're cheap for a reason.

Have one on my car. Its cheap, only like a $100. The piping is fine but the filter is a little cheap. I'll probably replace the filter with a better brand in a few months. At $100 its definately worth trying, you can always replace the filter later to a better brand.

The reason they are so cheap is that they didn't research and build the intake for the car like the other companies like Fujita, AEM, or Injen. This company takes intakes from those named companies and make molds based on the these existing products. They are cheaper not that the metal is cheaper, rather the cost of research and development aren't there. They don't market the product either. Hench the cheap filter like Jrb said.
