Any one know where to get white LED's to replace the vanity mirrors inside the TSX? I just converted the interior to white LED's but I can't find the size or where to get LED's for the vanity mirrors.

I did a search, but the links were broken or doesn't exist anymore so no useful info was found. Thanks.

 

i thought you cant change vanity mirrors lights..

why couldn't you change it? It's the same set up as the other lights, just doesn't fit.

 

There isn't an LED in this particular bulbs layout. You could do something custom by buying an LED and solidering it on to the contacts. The problem is the lense is translucent and wouldn't give the same look as the other clear lenses.

 

Do you know the size for the vanity mirror bulbs?

 

Unfortunately I have forgotten the type because there wasn't an alternative to it. I could look in my service manual when I get home.

EDIT: I looked it up in AllData and it is just saying a 2W bulb.

 

You can change it, just no LEDs. Hell, the LED is wider than the stock bulb.

BTW, thanks for the updated link to the replacement guide. You really need to make it a DIY and I'll place it in the DIY thread.

 

hmm...i think i'm gonna come up with something, give me a month.

 

Like I said above, all you need to do is take some regular LEDs and solider them in there. Pretty easy.
