I think the keyword is in the first sentence of the description:
If you need a boost and can't afford a real turbo or supercharger conversion...

"The Supercharger is connected to a switch inside the car. Whenever you need more power you simply flip the switch and fly away. " I confess to you guys...I was really thinking about doing this but the switch! I want one w/o switch!

If it runs on 12V Its probably highly efficient. Not as efficient as a conventional turbo that runs off the exhaust manifold, but probably more efficient than a Vortec or Eaton that runs off the crank pulley.

I bet you could tie it into the TPS somehow to only kick on when you go WOT, some guys have rigged up nitrous systems that way.

Well, it does seem at first glance it does not work. However, since trying something similar, i do see some benefits :
a. Puts a mild pressure for intake manifold so no delay for inflow. Puts in an overflow of air and air flows out of filter. Keeps the warm air out if u have a CAI and also the heated air inside the throttle body seem "cooled" with the additional air blown in.
b. Actually alters the flow rate sensor so u should know what it means.
c. Got 4 hp out of it on dyno and I am running the Euro R version
d. Actual butt feel for 0-100 or between gears at different speeds gives interesting response.
Well, blow me down, but very interesting on NA car. Just sharing what I have found out with this experiment. Some things surprise me more and this is one of them.
cheers
