TSX Spark Plug Covers

TSX Spark Plug Covers
I came across one thread where some dude hooked his car up with a JDM DC5R Spark Plug Cover. After doing some research this spark plug cover is made for the K20 engine. Is this particular part switchable between the K20 engine and our K24 engine. I just put in an AEM SRI intake and I would like to replace the OEM spark plug cover with a red one to match the intake. Any information regarding this topic would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The JDM sparkplug cover from K20A can be used on K24 as many members on this forum did on his/her cars.
However I don't think the JDM Spark plug cover comes in red, it only comes in silver so you might have to get a customized one to match your intake.

That's the DC5 valve and spark plug covers. The spark plug is the silver one, pretty boring. The valve cover looks great though. I believe they require some small omdifications to fit, they're not a direct swap.

there's no modification needed. Its a direct swap. All u have to do is buy 2 extra nuts because the jdm spark plug cover has 2 extra holes.
But in order to use the jdm sparkplug cover, you need to get the jdm valve cover which is about $150ish.

But it is also easier to find extra spark plug covers since it's a DC5, if you don't like the JDM style one...plenty of carbon fiber floating around out there, just a matter of a good search and what brand you like better.
I prefer to keep mine all JDM though...my .02
Also you might want to buy 4 extra nuts/ screws...whatever. If you don't then you'll have two black ones which make it look odd if you ask me...like 8 silver 2 black...not feelin it!!

I think 250 is easy to give up for a couple of dress up goodies for show purposes when the flow is there....I'm guessing you said 250 for covering multiple pieces too??

graduating, but not done till the summer, not going to be back in NOVA till late June.
as for dress up, $250 isn't a lot... BUT there is better mods to do first IMO. Like a CAI or sway bar.
