This is an awesome graph for analysis.

dotted blue -Dougs Stock(no intake nor headers)
dotted green -Dougs Hondata + comptech i/h
solid blue -Taewlee Injen CAI
pink -Taewlee Hondata + Injen CAI

you can reference this page, http://www.hondata.com/images/dyno-k...stock-tund.gif, to see dougs' dotted blue line is all stock not with i/h.

you got it wrong, dotted blue is WITH COMPTECH header aND intake... as you can see, comptech didnt provide much gain at all. If you want most power for your buck, go with injen.. If you want to stay as close to stock as possible with less noise, go with comptech. One thing doug said good about comptech intake was that it wasn't as noisy as injen. But i dont give a f$%k about noise. I just want max hp.

The dotted blue is pretty strong for a stock car. 185hp at the hubs should be around 212 at the crank.

which comes to the conclusion, injen cai with header has a very high chance of putting more power than hondata's tsx. Im ready to buy a header it's just not enough choices for me to pick yet......

Actually you're not right here. Look at this graph: http://www.hondata.com/images/dyno-k...stock-tund.gif

Dotted purple = dougs car stock
orange = dougs car comptec i/h
green = hondata + i/h

Now which line does the dotted blue in your graph look like? the dotted purple one. Shape of the curve is the same and value are near the same.

Ok if dotted blue isn't stock then what is? Actually maybe you could list the colors to clear up the confusion.

Look at my latest post. Also, vwong dyno'd his all stock and put down 185hp and 158lbft torque all stock(and on the exact same dyno). The dotted blue one is a stock motor.(no i/h)

lol damn, people just take info given to them and turn it into whatever they want it to be... that's ok, it's a common problem. anyways, doug created that dyno to see the comptech stuff and injen stuff before hondata. dotted blue line is not stock, it has comptech header and intake.

I'm turning it into what it is. Doug must have put the wrong curve on the graph.
There is no way you can tell me the dotted orange curve in the graph below(form hondata) which is comptech i/h no hondata is the same as the dotted blue graph in your dyno. Not only is the curve different but hte numbers don't match up. IN the organge graph(comptech i/h no tune) at 4500 rpm he's making almost 170lbft) not the 150 lbft that is on the dotted blue graph.

THe only way the dotted blue graph could be comptech i/h is if you produced less power with them than you do with a stock car and have the exact same shape torque curve. That's not possible. That' snot to say injen/dc isn't the best way to go for max power, it probably is.

here is the taweless dynos

dotted blue and orange lines the same? Nope. Dotted blue and dotted purple? yep. dotted blue and dotted purple are both stock.

don't be a no one falsified anything.

If you can make an actual arguement on facts why the dotted blue line isn't a stock car other than "doug said it" then there is something to talk about. I'm sure someone just made a mistake telling you that's what it was.

Now I appreaciate all lthe dynos you've provided and what not but don't get upset that i pointed out something that appears to be factual. (if someone can prove to me that i'm wrong, i'll gladly apologize but I don't believe I am based on all the dynos we have off the same dyno)

sorry for getting mad cause you disregarded what i said, but you actaully looked the graphs carefully and compared it to this one
http://www.hondata.com/images/dyno-k...stock-tund.gif
which i've never seen before.
but after looking at your dyno, I can see where the comptech header and intake went over 200 with the red line. Gyah, this whole time I thought the dotted blue line was with comptech header and intake when it was stock!!!! LOL i thought comptech was horrible because of that but i guess comptech isnt so bad =P

That graph comes form this page: http://www.hondata.com/reflash_tsx.html near the bottom.

I have a feeling the most power to be had is going to be injen+header!

Blue Dotted line - Manual Transmission TSX with Injen intake and Hondata reflash compared to:
Yellow line - Auto Transmisison TSX with Injen intake Hondata reflash (300 miles on the clock)

Dyno run started at 2500rpm on Auto and 1500rpm on manual.

High torque on Auto at low RPM due to torque converter.

Yes -

Absolutely stock 300 mile old auto TSX with and without Hondata reflash (now available)

Notes:

- This was an 05 TSX with an 04 computer.
- The gains are exceptionally good for not having an intake and header.
- The 7600 RPM rev limit is only accessable in manual mode. Shift points have not changed.

Wow ... time to consider Hondata as my first mod!!! It certainly seems to stand on its own

Edit: So who can plug the 6MT stock + Hondata in to car simulation program and crank out some 0-60 and 1/4 mile guesstimates/improvements

Ohhhhhhh Tinnnnnnky?

Holy crap, even with a stock engine the gains are huge!

Simple solution:
-don't fix brakes
-girlfriend goes off cliff: leads to new girfriend opportunites
-now have money for hondata + playa status

He just stated that is was on a dynopack. But he may have more than one. On the dynopack he stated he had 192.XX hp. And I don't recall the tq. Doesn't matter I am just glad people are starting to make power with these TSX's. This way more and more manufactures will make more products for us.

With all my vacation plans, it's going to be hard for me to save up $600 immediately, but these dynos are making me consider plan B.

Plan B = Purchase Hondata, delay vacation.
