Does anyone know if the TL 06 nav will be the same as the TSX 06 new nav? The release info on the TSX 06 nav says it's got a new faster processeor, bigger buttons on the UI, Zaggot info integration, faster boot time, etc.

TL 06 Nav is the same as the TL 05 Nav as far as I can tell. The TSX 06 Nav is the "upgraded" version and is also found in the RL and 06 Accord.

Seems ridiculous that cheaper cars get the upgrade, but not the TL. Oh well...I'll be enjoying it in my '06!!

I played with the 06 accord nav this weekend and compared to my 05 tsx nav it is very fast! Very fast! When scrolling, the streets pop up automatically instead of having to stop for the screen to update and when calculating the routes it takes half the time. Now im totally jocking the faster nav.

RL Navi = Upgraded Nav + HFL + Traffic Link + rear camera support + Zagat
06 MDX Navi = Upgraded Nav + HFL + Zagat + Rear Cam
06 TSX Navi = Upgraded Nav + HFL + Zagat
06 Ridgeline = Upgraded Nav + Zagat + rear cam support - you have a Ridgeline
06 Accord Nav = Upgraded Nav + Zagat
06 Odyssey = Upgraded Nav + Zagat
06 Pilot = Upgraded Nav + Zagat
06 TSX Nav = Older Nav + HFL

I have no idea why Honda does not give the new Navi to the TL. Makes no sense. Like the key fob thing, LED tail lights, Speed sensitive volume control etc... But if I were an 06 TL buyer I'd be a little annoyed at Honda's oversight considering the price of the car. They should do better. Seems like the Acura division does not know what the Honda guys are up to sometimes.
