Tranny RSX-S vs TSX

What is different if anything with the 6-spd tranny on the RSX-S vs that of the TSX. There are many upgrades for the RSX-S tranny...is it compatible/ interchangeable with the TSX???

I don't know what specifically is different between the two but what kind of tranny mods did you have in mind? Gear ratios?

Considering that the two cars both have K-series engines, I can't imagine their trannies being that different. Probably the biggest difference is the gear ratios.

Flywheel, pressure plate, whatever will take some weight off and help with some HP...I think Toda has stuff avaliable for the RSX-S.....just wondering if it's worth my effort to look for parts that might or might not work.........or something like that!

cmf...
again quote from TODA Racing:

"Thank you for your e-mail and interest in TODA Racing. While we're not working on any TSX specific parts, there is a possibility that some of our RSX products will be compatible with with TSX. We plan to investigate this towards the later part of 2004. Hopefully we'll be able to offer an Engine Kit for the TSX which should add 30hp."

good luk man^^

Gear ratios are different but are interchangeable. For example, Someone in Albany has installed a TSX Final Drive and Countershaft into their RSX. The only difference I know of is that the TSX uses a magnetic sensor to calculate mileage as opposed to a speedo gear as in the RSX. Oh yeah, the tranny case in the TSX is made of Magnesium. Not sure about the Flywheel but part #'s are different.
