TODA Headgasket

Anyone know if it will fit our car? I think it would be nice if we could get a litl more compression out of the K24.

the TSX and RSX have had some many engines blow because of th high CR already. i have a good friend at acura and they are always getting the cars in for bent valves from pistons hittin and people miss shifting and blowing the motors. i would lower it and run some boost man dont raise ti u are just asking for trouble

unless i am turning it into a drag car, i prefer the NA setup than FI. just my presonal preference.

I know 2 guys personally that blow up their RSX-S engines and i almost blew mine when i had the car. But just like you said, it's because of the mis-shift. I was half way through letting go of the clutch when i was supposed to shift into 5th instead of 3rd at redline. However, i think it's just as deadly high-compression or FI when you mis-shift.

actually its deadly no matter what stock or not but high compression will lead u to more detonation...the car isnt tuned for it. expect problems without tuning. tuning is the key for power no matter if your going NA or FI

i think it's coz it's too complicated for daily drivers and more suited for those all-stripped race cars where all you care is to go fast.

no its a pain to tune have you ever tuned one? there are only certified shops that can tune it. and if what i was told correctly from the shop...you only get 30 dyno runs to completely tune it then it locks you out. Also it replaces your entire ecu and wiring harness. if you ever plan on selling it you will have to rewire the entire car. ill go with an AEM or hondata that will plug into stock wiring harness.

no, never tune one. i wish i know how to tune it. I know couple of guys that installed them and it's way too expensive to get it to work properly. and both of the cars dont get driven on the street at all.

AEM has more features than most people would need or understand. The Hondata programmable ECU has just the right amount of features for self tuning, not to mention it's OBD2 aware and works with the factory immobilizer.
