dunno about the exhaust. I'm doing near the same things as you, but also hondata and rsb.

So I think it is pretty safe to say that everything past the cat is mostly just for aesthetics. As far as Honda exhausts go, the stocker is a fine piece of work.

One is in the front, the other is in the rear.

Thicker front improves steering response, but increases understeer.
Thicker rear reduces understeer.

Most people just put the rear sway on -- that should be plenty good.

tints = $200 - $300
Injen/AEM Intake = $225 - $275
Comptech Exhaust = $995
Hondata Reflash = $525 (yeilds greatest gain, but more is possible with I/H/E)
Neuspeed Strut = $129
Comptech Sway = $129

Total Range = $2230 - $2353

That's my set up and I LOVE it

I would fix few things from the list..
Cusco Strut bar, Progress sway, and comptech Ice box.

I have the exact setup you're thinking about:

tints- $180
Injen intake- $200
DC sports exhaust- $700ish

its a great start. you'll hear and feel the difference in the intake. the exhaust maybe gave me a little more torque but otherwise it's mainly just the sound.

If you're looking for a performance boost you'll get more bang for your buck with an upgraded header than you will from an upgraded exhaust.

i'm also looking into doing some stuff to my 07. so far, i'm definately considering:

-30% tints all around (black interior + nyc summers = necessity): $450 for huper optiks....i'm looking for a place that's cheaper
-rear sway bar: $130
-comptech icebox (the wife has explicitly said she does not appreciate the loudness of CAI's. that, combined with our car being an AT, i think the icebox will be fine) $160ish
-OEM body kit $800-900
-rear lip spoiler from xenonspecialist $70-80ish i think

i contacted hondata about the reflash. unforunately it looks like the 07 ECUs have been changed so they haven't cracked it yet.

Haven't ponied the money to have it dyno'd yet I'm waiting for the summer when the drags and auto X start again, or maybe if I get word of a dyno day in Portland, OR (tis rare lol). But it does feel exceptionally quicker in the mid - high end range. Even got a bit better off the line. The strut and sway did the trick until A-Spec suspension gets installed. I don't know if anyone else here notices the amount of body roll in the TSX?? But the strut and sway deffinately cut it down a bit.

Where is it scratched? If you like the OEM lips for the 06, they may just cover it up And could be cheaper than a whole new bumper or body work

Yes, followed shortly thereafter by a nice CAI and header.

What about an exhaust with the 2nd cat removed? Barely any gains from that too?

Ah never knew.. I guess exhausts aren't really worth it then - at least for the tsx.

It depends on what you're after. A deep, throaty, sound (and 1 or 2 HP) may be worth it to some.
