TEIN has a major price increase scheduled for 5/1/08. If you are interested in a coilover kit or springs make sure you send payment in before the end of the month to secure the old pricing. The price change is due to raw materials costs and the weakening of the US Dollar against the Yen.

almost a $300 increase for type flex for dc5!

is it just tein that doing this? right now anyway? i guess i wouldn't be surprised to see every other company follow suit

 

I saw that Mugen has went up as well! On Kingmotorsports i saw that the mugen body kits price has gone up a few hundred or so... crazy!

 

I'm glad I picked up my (clearance!) set of Tein SS from you last month, Josh.

Anyone hesitating on pulling the trigger: do it! Coilovers completely transform the car both aesthetically and from a performance standpoint, and Josh (Excelerate) is a great guy to deal with who has provided many of my parts over the years and installed my coilovers like a champ.

 

no doubt the weak dollar and (still) rising gas prices had a hand in this. a year ago, the conversion from yen to dollar was almost 20% better...

i have been saving up for the CSTs... this sucks

i just might have to go with Tokicos and H-techs...
