Hey Guys - I am considering purchasing this K&N Air Intake Kit for my '08 TSX.

Review that I have read say that the HP increase is anywhere from 4-22Hp. Has anyone installed a similar system in the past. What would you recommend? At about $300, is it worth it? Are there any other quick fixes to get some added acceleration or HP?

I recommend the icebox
they all do pretty much the same thing...some are louder than others though
the icebox is the least loudest
you can get the icebox from excelerate for about 150$

 

You can also hack resonator off the end of the intake behind the driver splash shield. You will have to take your tire off too. Presto Icebox! Watch this vid.

^^i'd just spend the money on the Icebox. Might as well spend the money to get the right parts and cut down on the work to approximate it in the process. Besides, the Icebox has a larger airbox, which give it better response.

I'd do hack job to a civic or integra (which I actually did, but ended up getting an Icebox anyways).

OP, if you are set on getting the K&N, the FAQs section has a install and review of the part.
