Tanabe Medalion Touring Exhaust

Tanabe released a second exhaust for the TSX!

It's supposedly quieter than the Hyper Medalion, with a max of 93db. I called Tanabe, and they said it should produce gains equal to the Hyper Medalion. Anyone ever measured their stock exhaust db??

actually...it lists for $1120

.....is it really worth 2db less if the horsepower gains are equal to the hyper medallion?

The thing that I really like about this exhaust is the tip.
On the Super Medalion Hyper, the exhaust tip walls are too thin for my taste.
As for the Medalion Touring, the tip is thicker, supposedly quieter, same performance gains, and less noticable which is what I am looking for in an exhaust system

Wholehyper (from the other board) sells them for $869... I'm really interested in this exhaust too. I love the way the SMH fits the OEM kit, and I assume the Touring would be no different.

Spot on tsx 3pedal! The loudness of an exhaust system is what turns me off for the TSX... My previous Integra GSR had all the usual mods and was too damn loud even when cruisin at any speed... This looks like something i might have to add on! Now, only if I can get an 'in the car' audio clip @80 mph cruisin...

Agreed... that's why I'm holding off in the meantime. Sooner or later, the touring exhaust will become more readily available at the distributors, and prices will come down accordingly...

We don't have any forum sponsors that are "official" Tanabe dealers, do we?

Ok, I've talked to Tanabe. And they have a number of these exhausts, the Tanabe Medallion Touring Exhaust, coming in in January. If I could do $900 shipped on this exhaust who would be interested? Start a list please:
