stoptech vs rotora

OK, here's the story. Ordered my rotors, pads, and lines last week....got a call today, and they (stoptech) thought they had drilled rotors for the rear, but only have OE style rotors with the smooth surface.
Called Rotora, and they have OEM replacement rotors, in all styles.
Is Rotora a good brand of brakes...I think they are fairly new. I was thinking of Stoptech rotors in front (since those REALLY matter) and Rotora rotors in the rear.
What do ya'll think?
Any input to help or that would make sense is appreciated.

OR you could wait a lil bit longer and see if someone else might come out with a drilled rear rotors.

Here's an another idea for you. Since our car came from the same platform and USDM accord and RSX why don't you go and see if disc from those car will fit.

I agree with Maxboost. The brakes on the TSX are the same ones off the RSX-S. I have used the Spoon rotors on there (though a little adjustment needs to be made, being that the Spoon rotors are really intended for the ITR). Any brake application of hard parts for the RSX-S will mate to the TSX most likely. As long as you aren't playing with the proportioning valve, you're fine.

I just want to replace rotors. I asked several dealers and they told me the rotors are not the same from the TSX to the RSX-S.....what gives. It would be easy to get replacement rotors if that is all I need. Are you guys sure??? I'd hate to buy some rotors for the RSX-S and then they not work.

I want to do a no hassle swap with this...just remove and replace and then drive away.......Any ideas

Have you look at tirerack.com yet?
I think Brembo got some drilled rotors for TSX. Rear fitment of course.

tirerack only has the smooth surface rotors (brembo), unless I wanted some brand I have never heard of. EBC or something like that. Also don't want power slot or whatever it is either. I am slowly getting to the end of my search.

Why you don't want power slot???
If I remember correctly I think Brembo owns Power Slot and I have a whole set F/R on my T5R. It performed very well. I've had it for about 50k mi now.

EBC is a pretty good name. They are known for their pads. They dimple their rotors so they won't crack like holes might.

but the EBC's have some gold tint to the rotor...not feeling it since everything on my car is silver......

As far as power slot, I'm not saying there bad, but just don't hear as much about them, so don't seem to reputable to me.

Kinda want to do something a little different too, so Spoon or Project Mu will keep me running a little different than everyone else for a little bit.
Got a quote on a full front set-up of Spoon Calipers, brackets, and rotors of 2400....that's a little rich for my blood right now, maybe in a few months. Gotta finish paying off those coilovers I don't f'ing have yet!

This thread went nowhere towards what I was expecting...oh well I guess. Initially I was looking to see if those rotora rotors were any good ( for the rears ), just for a "temporary" set-up....something to use and abuse to put it. We'll see!
