Sprint Booster Power Converter

Anyone with an 04/05 MT try this? It's supposed to eliminate the DBW lag that we experience: http://www.sprintboosterusa.com/default.aspx

I heard that the DBW lag is not as much of an issue on 06+, but I can't confirm that.

I'm a bit skeptical of the product, so I would like to hear if anyone has specifically tried this in the tsx... any info would be greatly appreciated!

I'll live with the slight lag rather than shell-out $330. They do offer a free trial, of some sort. Hmmm...

This looks a lot like something that I have. On mine it just tells the car to open the throttle more than it normally would when you press the gas pedal. So if you press the pedal down an inch lets say, it will tell the car you floored it and it will excel accordingly. I saw that the site said shaves a second off. I'm not sure about that but I can tell you if this product does what I just explained then IN MY OPINION it is not worth the price someone that posted earlier stated. I do notice a slight difference with my chip but mine was a lot cheaper, so i thought it was worth it. So far it has been. .. . If what you posted has nothing to do with what I just said then ignore this post all together lol

If this was possible, Acura would have done this a long time ago. I bet gas is a killer once you put this on if this does work. Definitely not worth it.

It does work. The DBW limits you to less than 100% voltage when Wide Open Throttle. This unit gives you 100% throttle when you engage the gas pedal fully. The reason Honda didn't do it is to limit it in lower speeds/RPM's; this gives the user the ability to change that and not be limited by the factory setup.

I'm not saying the part is for everyone but it does what it supposed to do.

It has no negative effect on fuel economy that I noticed, unless of course you drive with your foot down. At that point you can't blame the chip because any engine sucks gas when it is being pushed.
