spoonsports says.....

I e-mailed spoon sports last night about sway bars and strut tower bars...here's the response I got back from www.spoonsports.us

Hi,
The strut tower bar is available and we are waiting for them to arrive from
Japan at least one month. Also, what will be available is the titanium exhaust
system, air cleaner, euro r body kit and spoiler.
Mark

Oh Yeah, can't wait !!!!!

I thought what cmf meant was Spoon will have their own body kit for the Euro R, not just the Euro R body kit.

Not too sure what they meant by the body kit...does spoon make body kits? If so, then I would guess the same as MC-CL7, it is another kit for the Euro-R

that's a painted Euro-R kit, Spoon only makes a bumper and lip spoiler.

The bars sound cool b/c they're JDM but I only got mine.

Did this spoonsports website open in the last 2 days or something? Is AJR no longer the NA Spoon dealer or what?

I'm hoping they'll import their grill as well.

got the website off the side of the spoon sports CL-7. AJ racing had no knowledge of this strutbar yesterday when I called them. Again, I just got the reply this morning though!
I just e-mailed spoon back about authorized dealers and pricing, so when they reply, I'll post the answer.

OPAK Racing have been the only Spoon authorized dealer in the US for awhile already.

Remember AJR is from Canada.

But since US and Canada are so close to each other, they can sell across the boarder no problem.

Probably the connection for the vehicle lift, Like an air jack with two legs just inside the front edge of the bumper. I've seen them on the Spoon DC5R before.

I don't think those wheels are Enkei. I'd say that it's definitely Work Emotion.
As for the knob poking out the front grill that's for an air jack. For pit stops.

Have you called around about it? Call Edmun at Opak Racing 707-584-9300 maybe he can find out since he deals directly w/ Spoon.

i think he means hondata has to make the ecu before the supercharger will be worthwhile. seems like the s/c is coming along a lot faster than the KPRO

blah .. haha i'm so late!

lol dzuy you always bashing auto's. i know i shoulda waited for the manual tranny, but now im stuck with this, and ima do whateva i can to get a little more go. i jus can't wait till all these companies release their products for our cars. seems like its all gunna be done at the same time..

nah i'm not bashing autos. i'm just makin a point that you are saying that all these mods are not gonna gain any performance...well, it's even worse b/c you have an auto. so you're really not gonna see much improvement even if you got a SC.

that's all. personally, i don't care about performace,soooo...it's all good

S/C will most definitely be a noticeable performance upgrade regardless of tranny.

I still don't think that Hondata is going to come out for AT equipped cars though.

It's likely that the supercharger will work with AT cars but it is unlikely that Hondata will be available (at least initially) for anything but 6MT. There are quite a few differences between an AT and MT ECU.
