Small Problem With Injen Product

Just received my Injen CAI yesterday. I noticed that the Injen sticker on the aluminum pipe that hooks to the throttle body is on the far right side of the piece instead of on the left (like in all the pictures). When I placed the rubber connector over the end of the right side of the pipe, it covers about 1/3 of the sticker. Other than looking bad, I'm concerned that this will interfere with seal when I place the clamp on. Did anyone elses come this way? Also, any suggestions on what kind of solvent I can use (rubbing alcohol, WD40) to remove the sticker without harming the finish of the pipe?

Try a blow dryer to loosen the glue. Then you should be able to remove any glue residue with a small amount of paint thinner.

I left it on there. Mine was far enough to the "left" that only the very edge was covered by the gasket.

Good Advice

Hey brerpie....good advice. The hair dryer worked perfectly, along with a plastic spatula to peal off the very hot sticker. Now I just have to find time to install.
