I was installing my icebox tonight.... everything was going smooth untill removing
my factory air box. I could only get one of 4 screws out! I don't know if the dealer
ship over torqued the screws and stripped them or what. Any suggestions?

 

they should all come loose and you pull the lid up...the screws don't actually come out....

 

yeah thats the idea but all they do is spin. I tried a screw driver and a socket
no luck! It sucks to get this far on a mod and get stuck on something stupid!!!!!

 

so the rest are spinning? can you lift the lid up?

 

Not to be a smart ass but no. The screws just spin. I managed to get one out
(not on purpose) but the rest are just stuck. I have to have a way to fix this
not only for the icebox lid but changing the filter. If I cant resolve it I'll just have to
cut them off and get new ones from the dealership.
