With any kind of mods on an RSX-S did you not expect to pull away, especially when racing an automatic TSX?

Its not an auto tsx. its a 6mt. And he wont pull away like that if the tsx starts in 2nd.

im not gonna get into an argument about which car is faster..... the vid will tell us that when we both start in second.

I dont think there is a loser anyway, they both are awesome cars.

no cris can drive, but the thing is he hasnt had the tsx for long and in his spec v he would race in 3rd at that speed.

now i have to defend my honor:
we said we were gonna do to from 60-100mph but traffic got light and i was trying to position the camera on the dash while looking at the tach, while looking forward, so i shifted to 3rd but then firedc5 slowed down and it caught ne off gaurd. plus in the spec top speed in 2nd is 49mph. so i wasn;t too sure if the tsx was at 49mph also. after the race i redlined in 2nd and saw that the redlined at about 55mph so next time i will be in 2nd plus i got an INJEN CAI so i gotta race again. PLus in like 2 weeks firedc5 is getting hondata and will smoke a i/h/e tsx no doubt

about the race being close it would be closer on a rsx-s stock because their INJEN CAI adds about 15whp. so i'm not expecing to win in the next round but its for fun......right?........

can't wait to see the next vid, from any kind of roll it should be a very close race. For fun you should do one from like a 5mph roll in first. That's probably where the tsx would have the greatest advantage.

from a 5mph he will win because to the fact that he has yokohoma avs es100's and an 8100 redline. now what will be close was if i raced an ser spec v, that would be close (for thoes of u that didn;t figure it out i used to own a 2003 Nissan Sentra SER SPEC V w/ NISMO

yea but trying to keep the camera from not falling off the dash is the hardest thing. at a corner or hard acceleration it will fall off. mayb jawwad u need to have someone in the rsx film (plus it would add about 150lbs to your car's weight lol)

All in all i like this board alot better than clubrsx mainly because there are so many immature shits in the rsx vs all....... you cant beat the midwest regional board though.

It's not a bad video at all. Man those roads are so smooth, I would love to race on the highways down in the lower 48 especially in California. Highways in Alaska/Anchorage suck ass. LoL there is no highway really.

Anyways, it sounds like the dude in the TSX was shifting a little to early and if you were in 3rd, then that was a real draw back. I can't wait till the second one. Starting in second will make a huge difference.

How big is your camera? could you strap it to the passenger side sun visor? maybe put some shims on the front side to get a good angle. I'm thinking those thick rubber bands or something along those lines to attach it. The major problem would be the sun visor trying to fall down under the weight of the camera. the other option might be to mount it in between the passenger seat and the head rest. Just have to do something so your acceleration doesn't drop the camera into the back seat.
