Rondog,

I prefer the second one, but would it be possible to incorporate the OEM fogs into the design. Oval openings that fit (if not exactly, considering some may want diff fogs) the OEM fogs, perhaps?

well, this is just the begining, as time goes on, I will perfect the design, developing it little by little until i can look back and say any more will be going backwards. I'll post any new images.

I guess I'm in the minority, I like hte first one as its pretty subtle. If it had an empty grill (like Phase and Mugen bumpers) I'd love it. I'm not big on the having a bumper that fits an intercooler considering I wouldn't want to use possibly the only RJ bumper design for something only a handful of people will get (a turbo). I imagine most people will go w/ a S/C. The pics look like a great start though, keep it coming!

I'd buy it if it looked like the TL kit you make.

yea..if it were closer to the TL kit i would be very interested in this kit.. the TSX has sharpe edges..anything rounded wouldn't look right (to me anyway). The TL kit looked to have had sharpe edges...keep that concept going..maybe some fender flares for wide body?

Damn right bout the sharp edges, and sorry, but widebody is not apealing to the majority. Here's a solution to you open lower grille folks, you can cut out the indentation to open her up, intercooler or not, nice option, huh:

Thanks, This was one of those times were the design did itself, pretty much lucked out. For the full front bumper, rear bumper, and sides, check out the pricing on the TL, most likely it would be the same price, and technical info, polyurethane, with the option of being prepainted etc... it's all there:

Wow...that is nice...question. Is the grill integrated into the kit? I personally like the open style of the mugen will there be a mesh behind the chrome so we could cut that out as well if wanted? Also can we see what it would look like without the bars in the openings to the sides. You don't have to make it an option just a lil photoshop....I am interested in this kit but i would cut those along with the grill and the front opening out. Looks hot Ron good work man.

i like the grill and the overall look.... just dont know about that indent in the middle that "can be removed for intercooler" kind of upsets the balance in my opinion??

2 thumbs up for this

I really like the 2nd bumper design on the Silver TSX, somehow looks like the ferrari front.

I've always been wondering how the Porsche 911 Turbo front bumper would look on the TSX, or something similar to that.

I'm definately for the latest design. If you build it, count me in. The TL kit almost made me regret buying a TSX, but this will do nicely.

Wow...PM me on this when you are done with this kit. Definately worth dropping my OEM kit for this one... Can you estimate how much it will cost ?

ron. as a quick suggestinon for those guys wanted the interecooler intergrated into this design could you post up the picuttre with that middle piece hollowed out? i think it would look good, and you may even add another one of those V shaped bars like inthe gril area above it.

The last kit is amazing..very nice peice of work!.. I'll be all over it when priced and a realease date is here.. but, can nothing be done to the back of the TSX?? It needs more flare back there..i liked the little spoiler that came with the TL's kit..can you do something simular to that as well?? the TSX needs some "azz" work!..lol its all about Uniqueness..you can make it happen! You have everyone's support on this one!! (just look at what you've created so far)

Thanks again, I'll fine tune this one and like I said before, that middle piece will have the option of being trimmed out or kept it, i might tone it down a bit and not make it so deep, and the sides were completely madeup, maybe they ended up looking like something else, but in the end, they will be totally unique. i will do some work on the back end, in due time. This kit just could make it to production, but right now the co funds are depleted till we get the TL kit produced and in stock. This would be next on the agenda, then i will be taking orders as a GB.

It would be good for those that live in places where front plates are required if they could maybe mount the plate in the lower section. Just throwing it out there...

I like the kit. Itz pretty hot.

I'm thinking I would only buy the front bumper though since I already have the OEM bodykit sides and back. Is your front bumper going to hang down lower than the OEM kit?

i dont think it would be lower since the oem is an air dam, looks like a plow. thats as low as youll get, his design looks a little higher (good)

ron, love your last design. i like how the angles of the air vents match up with the angles of the head lights. and the air vents on the side kinda remind me of the mugen body kit.

which brings me to my next point. what i noticed about the mugen body kit (on the H&R Project TSX) is that it makes the car look nose heavy. and for those interested in dropping their tsx and taking out to the track, you potentially will create a case of serious road rash. although the H&R Project TSX did ok in the SEMA proving ground in vegas last year.

i think it would be cool if you could take that last design, give it a shorter profile (less of a wedge shape). i think it might give it a more aggressive look. kinda like how rear wheel drive cars can push their wheels more at the corners (ala BMW). oh, but i'm not suggesting that you round it out and make it look like an Audi Cabriolet...

i'm just brainstorming...either that, or i'm overanalyzing and being anal about it. either case, RONJON looks very cool.

peace,
~jp

good idea, but the m3 spoiler would be pretty hard to beat based on its price. Ron have you thought about making grills which could be a common design for each different model? That's one way to get customers from people who've already bought the OEM kit.

a spoiler as small as the m3 spoiler would not be appropriate for such an agreesive kit your rear end will look very week

just my 2 cents

i think an m3 would be ok..since its sooo similar to Phase anyway. Anything too big on the TSX wouldn't look right. I even think the mugen one is too chunky. Takes away from the car too much. But that is my opinion to each thier own.

Im glad everyone like the kit and now finally there will be fewer OEM kits. There are so many oem kits on the road. =)
